Is a person who preaches and insists that his way is right any different than a preacher in a church

There are those who demand that they have Holy Spirit divine guidance. Yet they "hate" churches. The elephant in the room is that they do the exact same thing. Holding court and demanding that their way is the only right way. Do the robes and paycheck really make a difference?

Hi Eric, that's why I attend a church that honors all religions. I refuse to listen to anyone who preaches ' my way only '.

Ruby: IT'S not your way, your "church's" way, or my way, BUT GOD'S (WORD) WAY! Exd 20:3
ERIC: If I asked "Don't run," it means "YOU" don't run. Matt 7:1 means "YOU" don't judge but WORD (GOD/RIGHTEOUS) can ONLY If WRITTEN in WORD (Lev 19:17+MORE)!

You sure interpret in a strange way. It is like you want to make a point and find scripture. Rather than find the point in scripture and share. Perhaps you are agenda driven.

Eric u know u've heard of an "Imperative Sentence!"  W/so many other Scriptures saying "GOD LOVES JUDGMENT," why do u cont w/"teaching" that's in ERROR?
Not "agenda driven" but have "researched" WORD in "chrono order" w/HELP fm Holy Spirit!

Norine, is it possible for your to write a comment that is uplifting and inspiring instead of the other side of warning of the lake of fire. Do you just skip the stuff in the Bible that is the good news?

    5. profile image50
Norine Williamsposted 6 years agoin reply to this

"Good News" is that HE is "merciful" and has given us the "gift" of GRACE to forgive us of "all our sins" (Jer 31:34;Heb8:12;10:17) not what HE does AFTER we become "in Christ" which prevents Gal 1:6-9! GOD is NOT "LOVE" otherwise & has no "good

There is only ONE WAY or one will be "ACCURSED," so says Scripture (Galatians 1:6-9)! What I say, your preachers say, your mama says, your theological seminary says, or anyone or anything for that matter says, does not matter!

I can PROVE (II Timothy 2:15) what GOD SAYS with Scripture!  Why do you believe Jesus was born, walked the earth giving us an example while fulfilling law, DIED, rose from the DEAD, ascended into heaven (which took place in "chronological order"), yet don't believe we now live under the New Covenant?

Well, if you "DO" believe we CURRENTLY live under the New Covenant, why don't you believe the sequence of events ("Chronological Order") that lead to the New Covenant?  Didn't GOD say in Jeremiah 31:33 (Witnessed in Hebrews 8:10 & 10:16) that "AFTER THOSE DAYS (After HE ascends into heaven), HE would "put his laws in our hearts & minds?"  Did HE not come in the flesh (As Jesus Christ; I Timothy 3:16)  to fulfill this Scripture and do those things mentioned in first paragraph "promising" HELP from HIM (aka Holy Spirit) in John 14:26 and 16:13?   Did HE not ask us to "WAIT" for HELP from "The Promise" (Holy Spirit) in Acts 1:4?  Did HE not send "The Promise" in Acts 2:2 when FIRST CHURCH was established?  Did the Disciples of Christ not "Continue in the Apostles' doctrine" (Acts 2:42)?

I'm telling you ONE MORE TIME, GOD SAID (Through Paul when HE "put HIS LAWS on Paul's "heart & mind" Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10 & 10:16), we are to "OBSERVE" the apostles (Matthew 28:20) and live under the New Covenant which Christ DIED for and sent our HELP that we have been taught to "ignore!"  SATAN IS ELATED!!!

If you don't believe what IS WRITTEN rather than what's been "taught," you continue to live under Old Covenant (Galatians 4) and are "ACCURSED" (Galatians 1:6-9)!

Eric, I've asked you to "STUDY" Judgment!  Let me give Scripture that "PROVES" GOD LOVES JUDGMENT!  I Peter 4:17 says "For the  time is come that JUDGMENT "MUST" BEGIN at the HOUSE OF GOD: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the "Gospel of God?"  That's ONLY ONE of MANY Scriptures that says we are to judge RIGHTEOUS (With WORD) JUDGMENT!  I wish I had room to list ALL but AGAIN, I ask, Google Scriptures in Article "Is It Right to Judge" to find others!  If we DON'T JUDGE, we sin!  But "twisted" RELIGION continues to lose ALL souls who believe there's no judgment!  SATAN IS ELATED!!!

Do you now see why MANY "hate churches?"

What profit? What are u saying? Did I not give Scripture? Why deny WORD? Have they "brainwashed" you to believe "LIES?" GOD HAS SPOKEN in Scriptures given, yet u say me? Do u see why I "hate churches?" Look what they've done to u! Deception=SATAN!

How "SAD" u don't BELIEVE HIS WORD!
"GOD SAID" if we "preach "ANY OTHER GOSPEL" (ONE "VIEW") we would be "ACCURSED!"   See GOD about It!
Tell GOD HE should be "swift to listen & slow to speak" when ALL I give is WORD!
U used Jm "out of contex

How can I "twist" or use "out of context" Gal 1:6-9="ACCURSED" Explicitly stated?
It's just u've been "taught" 1 side: LOVE=only when OBEDIENT! GOD has 2 Sides, which HE'S shown throughout Scripture or why'd there be a "Lake of Fire?"

    Here's a thought, my brother.

Sometimes we can be as guilty for knowingly or unknowingly creating stress or upset in the lives of others. You seem such a good man, and yet from what I have seen, you not only keep returning for 'schooling', but seemingly encourage it.

When we sell lambs, there are those who will not want to buy, but sell us wolves. This earth arena is very big and it's ok not to want their wolves. Others would buy. It's ok also for them not to want our lambs. Indeed, if we try to force it, then we run the danger of becoming like them.

You are my friend, of course. I do not use this kind of reasoning to many. Use your wisdom and move on! It is the nature of the scorpion to sting, and it is the nature of the God-lover to Love. Let go and let be. These people are God's children, not ours.

Anyone can say what he or she likes. Wisdom dictates how we deal with it; whether we are wise enough and strong enough to remain firm, yet in tune with the Divine. Anything else will push us into their laps. Learn the game of letting them sell their wolves, and you sell your lambs.

There is room for all, and in any case, their hearts are hardened and not interested in your lambs. In a manner of speaking, the whole of life is learning to play this Divine game. Be a servant, inspirer, awakener, not a preacher or converter. Some will definitely seek your lambs. Serve those and not worry about others.

You are my friend and so I wanted to share. Do not feel that you have to persist in this direction. It will stain your Hubs and create disharmony. Do not fall into a separation game. We are all His. Stay blessed.
p.s Go over to my last Hub and leave a comment for Billy. Who knows, you may find it more inspiring. Much Love.

II Kings 17:29;32-41!  What "Divine?" If you serve Buddha or ANY OTHER thing they are "idols!"  You are as the "Catholic Faith" worshiping "Mary!"  You teach nothing but "love" which u don't have for GOD or u would "Feed His Sheep" but who cares?

Keep listening to Man (Hindu) worshiping "idols" & you will join him in the Lake of Fire (Exd 20:3)!
You should "READ" (Jm1:19)  II Kgs 17:29-41 & "see" if GOD loves Hinduism or any other RELIGION or HE wouldn't have written Gal 1:6-9 "ACCURS

Yes, a person who preaches and insists that his way is right is different from a preacher, because the preacher reaches and is able to influence a wider audience.

To address those who claim that they have Holy Spirit divine guidance, yet, they "hate" churches. I do not like the seventh-day church.  The reason is that seventh-day churches tend to stress that Sunday worshipers keep nine commandments and ignore one.  The fact of the matter is that we all break a commandment now and then. If the focus is one the Sabbath commandment, then it becomes permissible to break any of the other nine, as long as one keeps the Sabbath.

The Sabbath preacher is able to reach a wider audience, present more "facts" and influence more people.

Ruby Jean: You defy Scripture (Lev 19:17)! If you "love" someone (as ur kids) u teach right fm wrong not "accept all Religions!"
Angele: It's WORD u need to "STUDY" (II Tim 2:15) not what a preacher or anyone else says! Then you'll see (as RJ) why

Man: You are "the devil's advocate" hiding behind the word "love!"  You don't BELIEVE any WORD given!  For sure, "you won't win" when you defy WORD!
Is 8:20 "..if they speak NOT according to THIS WORD, it's bcuz there is NO LIGHT (LOVE) in them!"
