   The Bible calls Satan the Devil: "The Ruler of The of The World
   
   Jesus while speaking to his disciples called Satan the Devil: "THE RULER OF THE WORLD" No wonder the world and the earth is so messed up. Paul knew this also.
   
   John 12:31-----"Now there is a judging of this world, now the RULER OF THIS WORLD will be cast out.
   
   John 14:31----"I will not speak with you much more, for the RULER OF THE WORLD is coming and he, has no hold on me."
   
   John 16:11----".....then concerning judgment, because the RULER OF THE WORLD has been judged.
   2nd Corinthians  4:4----"Among  whom the "God OF THIS SYSTEM OF THINGS has BLINDED THE MINDS OF THE UNBELIEVERS......"

   Ah.....no. First we need to point out the fact, the bible is not written from an objective point of view, it is written from a Christian point of view, to a greater extend we can argue it is pro Christian propaganda. So, just because it say something is good, doesn't mean it is good, just because they say something is evil, doesn't necessary mean it is evil. For example Communist propaganda say the communist is good, but America is evil, but we know that isn't true, right?
   
   Second, we must make clear what the word Satan mean. The word Satan originally meant against, opponent and challenger, the early Jews, mistook this word to be a name and thought there is literally a been name Satan. In the bible it wrote
   
   John 2:22 [Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. ]
   
   John 4:3  [And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.]
   
   So, the bible is accusing everything independent from Christ, not subject to Christ, not from Christ or contradict Christ it be the antichrist (satan), which it accuse of bee false, evil, lies and demonic. Thus it accuse other religion, such as Buddhism and Hindu to be evil, It accuse, scientific fact that contradict the bible such as evolution and earth is over 6000 years old, to be evil, it accuse education institution such as university, to be evil and so on.
   
   So, when the bible say the world is rule by Satan, what it really meant it is rule by people, who is not send by Christ, not subject to Christ, independent from Christ and/or contradict Christ, which the bible accuse of been false evil and demonic.
   
   The story of the apocalypse according to the bible is a very different one, to the one in our pop culture. According to the bible it said the world originally don't follow Christ's rule, thus, the bible accuse the world of been evil. Christ, desire to rule the world, but a dragon defend the liberty of men, against Christ's rule, for that, the bible accuse the dragon of evil. after a powerful battle, Christ trapped the dragon and then ruled for 1000 years, which the bible claim to be a joyful occasion, due to its argument of everything not subject to Christ is evil. But after the 1000 years, the dragon broke free and drove Christ away, so people are free not to follow Christ again and because of that the bible accuse the world of turning evil
