All things have their modes of dampness, staleness, slothfullness, or activity, aggression, restlessness and goodness, compassion, Love... This applies to food or nature or whatever. Sometimes the three Gunas or modes mixes.
The disciple is essential the prototype or image of God. The difference being that the disciple is not Conscious of it. Actually, one is called a disciple when he becomes conscious, so let's say that man is not conscious of it.
