No – while God loves us even when love Him imperfectly or not at all, He ultimately requires a response from the soul. Innumerable “if” and “unless” statements in the Bible reveal this to be so.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:5-7)
“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3)
If God loved His chosen people unconditionally then He would not have constantly sent them prophets to get their lives in order. Secondly, there would be no need to send a Savior to deal with transgressions or a gospel to learn a better way to live.

How do you remain patient when it seems as if everyone else is being blessed but you? There are several things that I've been praying about but at the top of my list, a new job. I know that the economy is bad but many of my friends have landed the job of their dreams while I'm still waiting on...

There was this very enticing and interesting question I read on the internet about people loving God. Specifically, why do everything in your power to please God when God is supposed to love you already; is supposed to accept you for who you are? I must say, people are selfish in terms of their own...

Think about this: God, out of profound love for us allowed his own wonderful, dear son be sacrificed for our sins. He didn't sin one time. He didn't die for himself. He died for us, to save us. This is why he is called the savior. Jesus sacrificed his life to save us from hell, which were prepared...
