Good or Bad?

There are some beliefs in Hinduism like a day could be turned to be bad if “we see a cat’s face first when we wake up at morning” and if we see a cat coming across our way when we are going somewhere.

And also the same kind of beliefs on seeing some planets like mars, Saturn, Jupiter, mercury, moon & sun etc. (Sun & Moon are treated as planets in Indian astrology) It will be based on our horoscope whether it’s going to be bad or good to see those planets. It is also one of those beliefs.

But “master GK” says something different to it. (As follows)

When someone came to your home, based on how he is received by you, his / her opinions towards you are formed.

When you give negative expression & behavior to your guest, obviously he / she will be hurt, and won’t like you. But at the same time, if you receive him / her with heartily smile, and nice words and excellent hosting, then he / she will be very happy with you and will be thinking always good for you even though they would had bad thought on you earlier.

In the same way, when we see some amazing natural things like rare appearances of planets in sky like the planets mentioned above, we shall enjoy and feel very happy to see them. Then those planets will be very happy with us and will do well for us even they would have thoughts to do bad for us before. We should never feel negative of them. Also we should feel happy to see animals at any situation and time and try to love animals and birds.

Try to love a lion that's in the brink to attack you !

Sounds like "Master GK" realizes that superstition and ignorance are synonomous.

I have this repetitive dream where I am being attacked by a lion and I say to the lion..."I am not here to harm you. If you must eat me for survival than I give myself freely to you and i will satisfy your hunger for the night.... but if you don't eat me, I can help you eat for the rest of your life.  Whatever you choose I forgive you and may you be nourished in your spirit."  Then the lion comes up to me... licks my face and lays down and purrs at my feet.
This dream occurs every time something very bad is about to happen in my life. It reminds me that everything in life is vain and temporary.  That everything requires work and in the end we all die and sustain each other.
