Or even maybe a bedtime story...bread into fish, water into wine....Yawn!!
The bible was one big bed time story that I loved as kid, full of different takes on impossible happenings, it would have been good for Mulder and Scully to investigate, but they weren't around during the times of christ.
That is sorta funny because it is the story about rest.
I used to watch them, too with my youngest children. I appreciated the concept that there was more beyond our accepted physical plane of existence, and that they wanted to know...that they believed and pursued it.
that is the way I look at the Bible. a simple rendition of so much more...that most can't even conceive of because...for whatever reasons...it's scary, or unscientific, unproven or not even provable. I take the stories of the Bible as symbolic of what lies deeper than our 'acceptable' perceived reality.
If you could do what Jesus did in those stories (and you could one day) wouldn't you seek to understand how?

Just to believe “The Creator-God does not exist”; only because some scientists says so, is a very unscientific approach, more so when they don’t present any scientific proof to that effect.
