Has anybody out there seen a ghost? Or thought they had a spiritual experience like that?
I haven't but I am interested in the paranormal.

Seen? Yep, once - but most of them time I can only sense their presence. To clarify, seeing ghosts have nothing to do with spiritual experiences, it's just paranormal experience, let's not misinterpret the terms, OK? smile

Believing in ghosts is simply a superstition; hence one cannot experience seeing them.

The Creator-God is a reality; truthful persons in all ages have testified about having received revelation from Him.

i know you dont...thats the whole point...your truth is what you think is truth...now for those who think ghost is real , it is real...one cannot discard ghost theory because he/she doesnot belief in it but keep believing in god theory which runs of same lines...no solid evidence ,simply speculation...believer in ghost can give same arguments as believer in god and both cannot give physical ,solid proof...both are matter of faith or lack of it...

I have seen a ghost. We had one who was quite active. My first encounter with him was the first night I spent in the house. I had just turned off the light and got into bed when I suddenly felt that feeling of someone standing too close to you. The hair on my arm stood up on end. I tried to ignore it for a while, but that did not change the feeling that someone was watching me.
I am not a fearful person so I was not afraid, but the feeling was really creepy.
It came to me that maybe what was going on was ghostly so I spoke to it. (we found out later it was a he).
I told the ghost that I was not here to push him out, that I respected his space and the please respect mine, and informed him that he was making me uncomfortable for now because I was not used to that's sort of thing. For a short time after that I could still feel a presence, but then there was a soft rattle of my closets doors and the feeling was gone.

I got to actually see the ghost many months later. He was very faint and sitting on the sofa enjoying the view. I was skeptical of what I was seeing and I viewed him from different angles trying to figure out if there was some 'trick' of light and background that gave the impression. I could find nothing.
A few weeks later, my mother was wandering around in a funny way and it was very familiar to what I had done earlier. As a sort of joke I asked if she was seeing the ghost and she said yes.

This ghost's favorite action was to open a door in the garage. The door was to a special climate controlled room where the previous owner kept his collectables. For many months my mother and I where blamed for leaving the door open. But of course we denied it.
There was no way what so ever for this door to 'slip' open. The door did not have a door knob. The only way to fully and properly close the door was to turn the key to the deadbolt lock.
It was not until my step father had been home alone for a whole week and had to close and lock the door three times to get him to stop blaming my mom and I.

After that my stepdad did some investigating and that's when he found out about what we called 'the funny room' being the place where the owner kept his prized possessions.
He was the one that designed the house, it was his dream house and where he stayed until his death, (my family being second owners) and apparently even after death.

He was very peaceful, did not mess with our stuff or do anything noisy annoying. Just the door being open all the time was a nuisance.

Since then, I have had many other encounters, feeling them and witnessing their activities but have yet to actually see one again.
The house I just moved out of had a little bit of strangeness to it.
The wall under one window would ooze some crazy super sticky milky yellow stuff.
It was a pain to clean up....lol.

If I had answered this question a few years ago, then I would have said yes.  I had the experience of seeing the elderly lady who lived in my home before me.  One morning, at 6am, after a night of no sleep, I had come down and sat on the sofa.  After a few minutes, I looked towards to far end of the room and saw this woman standing next to a wall and looking at a painting, which was hanging there.  I shouted, "who the hell are you?"  She then looked at me, and replied "I'm Mrs. Day!"  I took note that she wore a long white quilted dressing gown, which was covered in flowers, and the largest pair of eye glasses that I have ever seen.  She then looked back at the painting and disappeared in front of me.

A few days later, when talking to neighbours of ours, and telling them of my experience, I discovered that Mrs. Day did wear the dressing gown and glasses, which I saw her in.  So, that was it, I was convinced in the reality of the experience.  Now, though, several years later, and never having such an experience again, I believe I had fallen asleep on the sofa for a few minutes, and that my experience was a dream.

A couple of years ago, after living in my home since 1998, a chance meeting with an old neighbour, resulted in my discovery that Mrs. Day, who was in her 90s, had been attacked by thieves in my home, who demanded her wedding ring from her, and when she refused, they had cut off her finger to get the ring.  Mrs. Day later died from shock.  Not that I am suggesting this had anything to do with my experience, but it did make me feel uncomfortable in my home for a time.

I've never seen a ghost,I hear children quite abit,my son has also. I live in an historical Czech school house, that was renovated into condos.

I have always heard kids playing, talking and giggling, since I've never heard anything bad or scarey I take it that they were happy so I'm not afraid.

My son use to hear them all the time also, but now he doesn't say,but he's never been afraid to sleep in his room alone.
For all I know they could be playing video games together LOL!

Yes, I saw my Pops after he passed away.  Twice.  But only for a few seconds each time.  One of those times my sister saw him at the same time!

You know what we can see on our bare eyes resembling an image of the one who already passed away is not anymore that person. Those are the ghosts which are the terminated ones from heaven imitating the picture of someone trying to scare or mislead us. Actually, they should not be the thing we should be fear of. They don't harm us like what we see in televisions and movies. Instead, people who have dirty minds capable to kill us because of something like money or hatred should be the we must be careful and avoid.
