Why Tyre still exists?

And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her a bare rock.
All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] ANY MORE.
The merchants among the peoples hiss at thee; thou art become a terror, and thou shalt NEVERMORE HAVE ANY BEING.

How come the city still exists against God's wishes?

The city of Tyre was destroyed. However, a city was built in modern times and given the same name. However, it was not rebuilt in the exact location to the old city but in proximity to it. You can see these followig websites for further info.

      Hope this helps

From where did you get that idea that tyre was destroyed?
You re-read it. The prophesy was at the time of  Nebuchadnezzar's attack, which the city withstood. So many other people conquered it later, but never was it erased as was prophesied in bible.
