Cool thing to do is moving objects using our mind but I can't.
is there such thing like telekinesis? or just a result of too much hallucination.
Two Years? Man, you must be really bad at it!
Took me like two hours.
Didn't they teach you anything? You have to attach the string first!
Oh dear. Only last week I exercised my faith and told a mountain to go and jump in the sea. It did too, and caused this massive tsunami which wiped out Belgium.
LOL! Wow! That's what Jesus said, if we have just faith as tiny as the mustard seed, we can do it. But normally I think we have this little energy but not practiced.
"Why can't I move an object when I studied TELEKINESIS for 2 years now?"
Because it doesn't work, that's why. At least not unless you have super powers.
You can move people as they have energy flowing through their bodies, but inanimate objects can't be moved. Try it on people instead, that works well with some practice.
You never cheated like the people who claim they can do this. Did that fire starter girl turn out hot or what?
It is possible, but very limited.
I have been able to move a 200 pound mass a considerable distance, and even rise into the air for short periods of time. I am able to cause certain portions of that same mass to move independently of other portions, although it always remains a single mass. I have even been able, on some occasions to cause parts of that mass to vibrate strongly enough that others have been able to hear the resulting noise as well as witnessing the movements.
All by merely thinking hard in the correct ways. Take heart - anyone can learn to do these things with practice.
lol
I do the same things! At least I move my 140-pound mass. Not as fast as I used to, but I move.
I have a very slight telepathic abillity, I can see what others are dreaming. I once had a girlfriend that had recurring nightmares and one noght she was having the dream, I reached over to shake her awake. When my hand touched her arm, I saw a scruffy guy in a lab coat banging on a van window, with a maddened look in his eye. I asked her about her dream and then told her what I saw. I was exactly spot on and was amazed at the accuracy of my inerpretation. She was even more amazed at the fact that every detail I mentioned was spot on.
Needless to say, she broke up with me for being able to see her dreams. She said that she could be with someone that could read her deepest dreams. I told her it was fluke, but by then it had happened three more times. The kicker is that it happens only when I awake form sleep and am still half in, half out. I did it to a few friends and they tried to get me to advertise and make some money with it. I told him that it was usually by accident and I wouldn't even begin to know how to use it, cognitively.
When I was lttle, it was said that I could move objects and light matches with my mind, the closest I ever got to seeing it for my self, was when I popped an balloon and turned a tv off from across the room with no remote. Though like I said, I have no true power over it and no true way to control it. The tv thing was cool though... I said "Television sucks today", the tv turned off just as I said it. I asked which of my friends turned off the screan, the controller was on the table next to me.
When my grandfather died, I had a dream I saw his three fingered hand come over the side of my bed and I woke up screaming. He died of a heart attack in another state, less than a few moments before the dream. The night my mother died, I had a dream about her too. I made a woodburning for her, she said she didn't need it where she was going and then walked away.
I'm not saying it's impossible.
I would just first wanna ask a few questions, like...
The girlfriend's dream you said was a recurring one. Isn't it highly possible that you remembered things she said while dreaming or things she had already described to you after she dreamed?
Couldn't the balloon popping and the tv turning off have been coincidental?
The other things you describe were when you yourself were dreaming, right? I do believe there are dreams and then there are visions. I've had both. And usually, we're able to differentiate between those.
The dreams always occur when someone I know, is either dying or already dead. The thing with the ex, was more of the telepathic thing. She never even told me about the dream until after the mind-reading incident. the balloon popping and the tv, were probably flukes. All the rest are absolutely true. I am also an empath, I can tell when someone is hiding an emotion or lying to me. I would think that if I told these things to my self, I'd be totally critical and would probably think I was nuts. Thing is, I already know I'm crazy.
I can't explain how any of it is true, I think I was crazy to post it, but I was absolutely under the impression that I had a gift at least at one point.
Perhaps you do.
Question---if you do, or if you thought you did, what would you do with that gift?
Help people with their nightmares, if possible,
Well, then, you have an opportunity to make yourself money. There is a standing one million dollar prize available to any person who can "show, under proper observing conditions, evidence of any paranormal, supernatural, or occult power or event."
Right now, there is actually 1.2 million in the account. Go claim it: http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html
By the way, it's open for faith healers and demon exorcizing too - a chance for the religious to pick up some cash !
Can I apply? Right now I'm faithfully re-growing a thumbnail that slack telekinesis caused a hammer to hit. Of course, I had faith that the hammer wouldn't find that thumb, but that is in the past. Now I have faith the nail will heal itself. Shouldn't that qualify?
I'm not religious. How many times do I have to write that?
Oh that's right... Most of you people don't read or remember everything I say.
They were produced in dream states, so I'm not even sure I could do any of that again. As for the match thing, that was a story my mother told me.
I didn't say you were. I said that prize is up for grabs by them as well as you.
Ahh, "dream states"
Do you believe that being in a half sleep, you'd be able see the dream of another? That's what happened when I percieved the ex-girlfriends dreams. I can see it as a fluke, because I was never conscious of what I was doing.
Coincidence, probably.
Although: http://newscenter.berkeley.edu/2011/09/22/brain-movies/
So, if real (doubtful) it wouldn't be paranormal.
So, your mother lied to you. Demand an apology.
Did you realize you can simply use your hands and pick up the apple and move it? Much easier way to go without brain strain.
I move my bowels all the time without using either my hands or my mind. I think I am a savant or something.
Try using your hands. I usually works when you want to move something and is a lot less effort.
By the way, most of these people are self deluded, not charlatans. See, for example, http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=97889
Well that was an interesting way to kill an hour. I do have to say though that it seems a little mean-natured to subtly mock those with obvious mental issues. I mean there is a distinction between those who's "gifts" could fall within the realm of possibility (i.e. those who have a history of at least anecdotal evidence, like dowsing) vs. "My name is Jesus and I can summon spaceships"
We are created in God's likeness. "Likeness" but not totally similar with God. So we can have powers as we like but just we should use it in good ways.
Nobody will ever claim that prize, as they have to agree to the terms the foundation comes up with. You can find copies of emails on other sites where people tried to work out a challenge, and they were simply mocked, ridiculed, and left having to accept an impossible challenge.
Nonsense, they could not do what they claimed. The rules are quite simple, the applicant must make a statement of their claims and then perform it for all to see. No one has ever accomplished that.
Riiight!
It's the secular establishment keeping the truth hidden!
These pages detail applicants attempts: http://forums.randi.org/forumdisplay.php?f=43
OBVIOUSLY when you interfere with telekinetics by not letting them TOUCH things, that's unfair.. oh, these sneaky scientists!
I am amazed at the power of My Mind....
When I saw this thread I thought - "What a Total Waste of 2 Years!"
And whoa.... Now that thought just appears right here on this page! Amazing!
You know, it is really sad how gullible and ignorant so many of our fellow humans really are.
You'd think they would be embarrassed, but I guess they have so much company, they are not.

Why can't God and evolution coexist?I am curious about the division between the concept of evolution and the religious mind... why can't God and evolution coexist? What are the rules that define the scientific process of evolution? Can those rules be applied towards religious belief?

If we can move oil all over the world, why can't we do the same with rain water? If we can move oil from Canada, Alaska and Deep Water in the Gulf of Mexico, why can't we pump flood waters from the midwest into the drought-plagued south west?

Why can't I relate to people anymore?I've noticed that not only can I not relate to people younger than me, but I can't relate to people my own age. I can, to a point, relate to people older than me, but in most cases... I still feel like I don't fit in anywhere. I'm only 23 years old and can't...
