England defeated Australia at Lord's, the "home of cricket," for the first time in 75 years. I didn't know this fact until I read my morning news paper. Congratulation to all English Fan.
Its about time! Congrats to the England team and coach.
Our team got distracted by that Barmy Army song, and the girls singing it, and forgot how to play cricket.
Anyway, Good on the english team.
Their next win at Lords will be in 2084
It wasn't the first win in that long - it was the first at Lords. The 2005 Ashes featured English wins too, just not at Lords.
And yes, this series is proving fantastically exciting, go Freddie Flintoff!
Sadly, looks as if Kevin Pieterson's out of the rest of the series, he must be gutted.
KP should left out, its good for his future. Thank God he is having some surgery for Achilles after a long time
You can't gut an England player man for being injured. It's wrong and it's unhygienic.
Ricky Ponting on the other hand, will deserve to be thrown in the croc pool when he goes home with yet another Ashes series defeat to his name.
I find cricket dreadfully boring, but at least we won something...as for tennis ugh!!
Boring to you but not to more then a billion of people around the world..
A billion...? Are you sure?
I'm sure there's more than a billion bored with cricket...
if you are boring then why are you cursing other for loving it.
You are suffering from adrenal gland disorder that you have so much anxiety and you cannot watch a test cricket match.
i instead prefer test over other formats.
Yes I am sure about that.... wanna calculate... 1 billion population of India who all like cricket + other countries like Pakistan, England, Australia, West Indies, Bangladesh etc etc
WOW.!! I had no idea cricket fans were so passionate and aggressive !! Gutting a player, throwing him into a croc pit..? Man, I thought yelling " throw the bum out " in baseball was rude..!
Just kidding...I know zip about cricket other than they make these funny noises at night...
I'm not boring...I just find cricket boring and my adrenal glands always seems to have a disorder when cricket is mentioned....of course cricket isn't the only boring sport(if you can call it a sport!!) take a look at sport on tv...it knocks the good programs off on normal tv....television henchmen keep it on it's own channel, so I do not ever have to see an advert for it!!
I think the Australians are lacking a decent bowling attack. With Mitchell Johnson out of form and Lee injured they struggled.

For any cricket lovers, will England go on to win in Melbourne?

Does it really take $75,000 for a family of 4 to be happy in the United States?Daniel Kahneman and Angus Eeaton studied the Gallup survey data. They found that happiness increases as income grows up to $75,000, but not after that. Making a million doesn't make you any less emotionally disturbed...

Is it possible to maintain a steady hub score of 75 without posting hubs frequently and on a regular basis? Like for example, can i maintain a hubscore , after having a decent 10-15 hubs and then posting very rarely. Yes I am ready to read other hubs, comment on them and take part in the hubpages...

Hey, I have built a number of hubs and I am beginning to think they are a complete waste of time!!!!!!!!!!The scores go over and under 75 all the time regardless of the constant traffic they are receiving, I have two hubs over the 75 mark we are seeking and the links are still NOFOLLOW!!!So I ask...

I'm new and wonder when I will be able to get 75 author score so my links become dofollow ones.I have created just 2 hubs in my first week and have 62 points so far. Thanks
