What would you consider when buying clothes for your choosy spouse?
“How dare you buy me such a shade? What were you thinking?"
I would most definitely consider taking the spouse with me. Otherwise, they buy all their clothes themselves.
My husband always wore suits, so I purchased all his leisure clothes..Trust me if I had not purchased clothes for my husband over the past 45 years, he would either still be wearing a Michigan State t-shirt with hiking cargo shorts,or walking the streets naked !...Years ago I thought I would like to give him a style, so I bought him some " Magnum PI shirts" ...worn once !! and his father asked if he was " gay"..Goodwill got all of them the following day... I still buy his clothes, but only cargo shorts and colored t-shirts, jeans and polos...he's rather conservative, but at least he has a style now...now if only I could get him to wear flip flops !
Either take them with you or have them buy all their own clothes. Plus sizes vary so much, its hard to find the right size. A size 4 may be too big even if that is their normal size.
