Its only a few short weeks away. Are you done? Or has the economic situation forced you to "rationalize" this year?
I haven't even started yet! This season, I'm taking a long time to get into the "holiday spirit". Not sure why this is, but it's not good because time goes very quickly and this month could be gone before I know it. But since our economy does stink like a baby's diaper, I do have to cut down on my spoiling this year.
Nope, we are only purchasing a couple of things as it is the thought and not the amount.
I have two more gifts to buy. I started early this year. I don't buy too any gifts so it's not usually that difficult.
I am procrastinating as a form of passive resistance to this whole thing: buying hard-to-afford gifts for people who don't need them and maybe don't even want them (OMG, how grinch is that?). I will probably cave right before christmas and pay through the nose for shipping.
I have done 80% of my christmas shop, however I am holding out for last minute bargains.
I am not the sort of person who wait for Christmas,Newyear or Birthday to do shopping, nor do i wait for any occasion to give gifts. Out of 365 days i would be shopping 300 days. But yes... i pampered myself today by doing some heavy shopping.
Half of what I buy is new and the other is going to be some careful strategic regifting
No way haveI FINISHED.
i HAVE half mylist done. i'll wait till ChristmS EVE.
I guess I like the added pressure of getting presents before morning.
Yeah nothing beats the pressure that you have to get everything on possibly the busiest day of the year.
I am nearly there...just got to get a turkey. almost wrestled an old lady down to the ground to get the last turkey and she won dammit!! she did the old lady act and got the security guard on me....still looking for a turkey!!!! Gobble Gobble!!
Christmas is Over. So now it should read "NewYear is near, Have you done all your Shopping yet?"
"January sales are near, have you spent all your money yet?"
You are funny I wondered when this thread would wear itself out.
Mark, you and Misha look good as redheads. It really brings out your eyes.
What happened to the
You look too serious in this one.
Hope the holidays weren't too bad.
No - I had a great time actually. Spent Christmas day with my wife - the first time we have spent the day on our own since we met. Helps being thousands of miles away from the rest of the families
Then a great new years eve party. Just recovered and back to work.
How was your holiday?
Yeah, I was thinking that this morning. Too bad, I think I look better with Christmas lights.
Glad to hear it.
Mine was good too. Drove to Sydney. Spent time with family. Drove home again. Did over 2200ks, but not stressful. Back to the "grind" tomorrow. (make that-today!) Its 1am

Have you finished all your Christmas shopping or are you a last minute gift hunter?

Are you all done with your Christmas shopping?I used to still be shopping until Christmas Eve. But this year, my daughter did all the shopping for me. She loves to shop and she seems to know what everyone wants. So this year, no last minute shopping for me. What about you?

I desperately want this one tattoo, but I have a serious fear of needles..and the pain. I want it on my left rib cage...I'm a skinny girl, they show, and tattooing on bone I imagine can't be pleasant. I was wondering..if I could go in for the actual tattoo appointment maybee after a few drinks..or...
