    I would rate the internet with a 5 1/2 out of 10.

I give it about a 5 out of 10, it would be higher if it wasn't for the trolls and self righteous plaguing the forums and content sites like hubpages. To many people abuse it for their own crazy agendas.

Easily a 10. I am an internet addict. I love blogging, shopping online, watching my TV shows online, Facebook, Google analytics, web design/WordPress. I am officially hooked. All of my jobs require me to be online, as well as my freelance. It's rare I go a single day without being online. I wouldn't say I have withdrawals or anything, but it is hard for me to disconnect. lol...

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right?! smile

The internet is a 10 for me! It's like having the world at your fingertips!

    Beyond me.

15 out of 10, yes I know there is no such score but the Internet brings me value never imagined before. I did consider all the trolls, snake oil sales people and abusers of all kinds but you can't buy experience. I do consider these types to be spoilers for many people but they are only users of the Internet.

I understand this, like this, never in the sum total of human existence, has it been possible, pre-Internet for people to access and provide freely, so much information, ever.

Not prince, nor king, has ever had the power I have at my finger tips.

Spoilers will only spoil things for themselves eventually and you have to deal with these people online or off anyway. So I deal with them, at least they can't punch me in the face. Yes I do know that the old adage (sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me) is not true in many cases but only if I allow it too, so I try not to, and that in and of it's self, has great value.

Perhaps millions of people will get some value out of what I have just written?

Nobody had that kind of power 20 years ago, at the tips of their fingers.

Yesterday I traveled the whole length of California Street, San Francisco, without getting out of bed.  There are things that I don't even know, that I don't know about yet, that I am sure I will, eventually, via the Internet.

So the internet is really greater than my expectations, I don't know what to expect because I couldn't know, what I don't know but the Internet gives me an opportunity to find out, if I chose to do so.

I can't really give it any number out of 10 because it is beyond the possibilities of my present knowledge.

All I can say is "Vive La Internet" a raw social, political junction in human history, a road beyond me, today.

I would choose 8. Sometimes I feel my life is surrounded by Internet, I don't like such feeling.
