My husband is Deaf. Where can I get an unlimited text only phone with full keyboard?
I have applied for a free government phone, but they only allow one per household and we need two so my husband can contact me in case of emergency. He has medical problems. We are both disabled and on food stamps.
I don't know the answer to this but I would contact the Jitterbug company. They cater to the elderly population so they might be able to give you some information. They might even know of some way of helping you get these through some kind of aid. Or you might ask your local social services dept this question it is a very good question and I would think needed by many.
You should look at the Sprint website. I think they have special mobile phones for the deaf. I wanted to buy a text only mobile phone and found these phones that are available for the deaf. It might be hard to find on the website. Try searching for text only phones.
