can i buy a tracfone lg 290c and use it for straight talk
I bought a lg 290c but it says for tracfone i bought it online so i havent got it yet well i have straight talk can i use that phone for my straight talk account??
If you bought the phone for Tracfone, then it has to be used with Tracfone talk time. In order to use it with Straight Talk, you would have had to buy it from Straight Talk's website or a Walmart location.
Straight Talk is owned by Tracfone, but they are separate brands so unfortunately phones won't work on the opposite plans.
You should call a Straight Talk representative and double check or see what you should do.
Here's the official Straight Talk blog: http://www.straighttalkblog.com/
You cannot. TracFone are GSM. StraightTalk phones are CDMA.
They may be the same parent company, but they operate different systems and networks, and use different phones.
There is a version of LG 290c for Straight Talk, but the one from TracFone won't work.
