For me, the worst cell phone etiquette that I've seen - not just seen but experienced is when someone courts you through text messages. I find it unethical.
Well, its when someone is talking on the phone with a very loud voice as if she/he is the only one existing.
Somebody shouting at the top of his/her voice in a public place, discussing their personal issues...
I work in a grocery store and people are constantly talking on their cell phone while I scan their groceries, take their money, give them change, and bag their groceries. Then they whisper a small thanks on their way out. I hope their eggs don't broken under all those cans of corn.
my friend got a call from his mom...he just received the call said "hello" and kept it aside without disconnecting!
I work in retail and I hate when I check someone out and they won't get off of their phone! They act like I'm not even there!
One of the most annoying habits is starting the conversation by yelling "Where are you!" funny thing is most of the time its a stranger calling his significant other and im all red in the face with my friends just staring. When once "Where the hell are you" was followed by "Whats your name" I started stopping the call when i hear that line.
I would have to say primarily people answering calls in packed theatres, in church, and the worst probably at a funeral.
The sad part is that this epidemic has gotten so terrible, many businesses are now choosing to put up signs saying: "Please be respectful and don't text while talking".. or something similar.
When someone is on the phone in public talking extremely loud where I can hear every word and they looking at me like I'm doing something wrong.....oooohhhh this eerks the hell out of me...I just want to yell shut up.
I was eating at a fairly nice restaurant and someone was talking on their cell phone using the speaker phone feature so every one had to listen to the conversation.
Jerks who play their music really loud in public areas, like on a bus or the subway. Wow, I'm getting angry just thinking about it...

Do you only use a cell phone with no land line?I still have a land line and cell phone but many people have dropped the land line. I keep the land line in case of an emergency. What are your thoughts?
