Yes, I CAN live without my Cellphone. But it is sometimes my lifeline to the world outside my home.

Well these days you can't live without your phone, since its your only way for communication. and our life trend is based on communication. even your work can't be done without your phone...So my answer is you can't life with out your mobile phone but at the same time you can't enjoy your vacation with your mobile phone. my advice is when you are in vacation, don't carry your mobile phone

I agree. It has become the new living point of our lives. But is a need like food? Or is just a point that we all want for information reasons?

Absoultely!   I rarely use my cell, but I'm also not one who talks on the phone much at all.  The one thing I do like about it though is having it "IN CASE" of an emergency.   I've yet to have such and emergency, but as a mom, I'd hate to break down on the side of the road with my two kiddos and have no way to call for help.

A few months ago I would have said that I couldn't live without it, but that was when I was living in a large city. Now I'm back at home in a very small town and I find that I use it maybe once a day (to send a text message), but recently I have found myself not using it at all.

I don't think this will always be the case for me, as I plan on moving back to the city, but for now it's a nice change smile

Yes I definately can. I'm one of those odd rare breeds that detest phones of any kind! They're great for emergencies etc. Other than that I would be quite happy to put mine in the trash can!

My mobile phone is one of my best friend. My mobile phone is now equipped with GPS and a variety of data of my college. All phone records, home address, corespondence, map of the area, latest info from around the world, also for the camera... It seems that all my life is on the phone's... *_^...
So, the answer is "No, I can't"...

It's funny how many people who have answered this question own a cell phone but say they could live without one.

I do not presently have a cell phone nor have I owned one in the past.  People lived up until the recent years without them and anyone who really wanted to live without one probably could arrange their life so they could do away with it entirely.
