Keep the computer in a public place. You might also want to look into specialized programs like I describe in my hub. I can't list a link to it..but its called Keeping Kids Safe on the Internet.
you can create a special user account for your kid ... make sure the account is limited and not administrator ... to do this goto control panel and choose user accounts.... it's quite straight forward ... also install some software like norton internet security if you want parental control options for the internet.

How do i get rid of trojans when its blocking my internet access? I have 2 trojans, i ran spybot, adware and avg but it would not remove 2 trojans. It is also... blocking my internet access so i can not download anything now. Any advice on how to get rid of thiese? plz plz help! thanks

I need someone who maybe knows a bit about networking to advise me.I only have mobile wifi to access the net with as there are no fixed phone lines, and my bandwidth is limited.I am allowed to use 5 Gbs a month. If I use more than that, my connection speed gets slashed. It's suppose to only go down...
