Depending on your budget and the actual type of photography you wish to pursue, then I would say to you, that the camera that you feel comfortable with, that is the type you should buy.
The main thing is if you have read my hubs on the purchase of a camera, is to start off right.
Buy the one that will grow with you, from begining till the more advanced needs. Each camera has it's following, so research your needs vis a vie theprice range and growth potentials.
    Good luck.
P.S. My Camera of choice is Canon.

I would say Canon has been one of the best brands offering high quality cameras. Any of the PowerShot`s models make a great choice depending on your requirements... checkout this review of the PowerShot G12 for more information about Canon cameras: http://funride.hubpages.com/hub/best-di … ot-cameras

I`m sure your hubs will look even better when you`ll start to add some photos and/or videos to them. People enjoy pictures and anything that can relate directly with the subject of the hub.

Have fun while hubing! Hahah I`m sure this word didn`t existed before... but you know what I meant, enjoy every moment while writing and working on your hubs!)

Sony Cybershot with the Carl Seizz lens. That is if you look for a simple camera, easy to cary around in your bag and making great pictures even during the night.

It's easy to make a nice shot with daylight but the pictures I take when I go out, always show to be very good. Of course it all depends on what you're really looking for.
