I am a new-ish blogger and I cannot figure out for the life of me how to add adsense to my blogger/blopspot blog. I have an adsense account that is used on Hubpages. I have read all the how-to's on how to do it, but it just isn't happening. I think it has something to do with my multiple profiles on google, but I really don't know. I'm not that technology-know-how-to person. lol. I welcome advice or even an arrow on where to check something out. Muchos Gracias! Michele

If you want to check it out - www.flirtyknitter.com - I set it up to have ads between blog posts, but when I "view blog" I don't see ads. I am super excited to hear from you! Thanks!

You go to blogger, com, click the earnings tab, if your blogger account is not the same as you adsense account you then click the link and connect the two.  If the two accounts are the same they will connect automatically.

If you adsense account is only for Hubpages and is a limited account, you will first need to apply to upgrade it.

I believe I have done this correctly NOW.

I am thinking I have BECAUSE the Account ID: # and the Client ID: # are the same as that in Hubpages.

I know Hubpages it set up, because I get paid by Hubpages (versus only on Amazon or something) in PayPal.

      Am I right on that?

      If so, next question...

So, I assume the next step to making sure I can get paid for my blog is to seeing the Account information on AdSense.

Now, in Adsense I would think that my blog would be listed with Hubpages and Felt... on the list of sites, but it is not.

I am attaching a picture of what I mean.

If I am a spaz, I'm sorry! Maybe I just have to give it time? Anyone who can help with this is more than happy to tell me I'm an idiot. LOL.

      Thank you for helping! Michele

To add a new website, once logged in to Adsense, go to Account > Sites and hit the blue plus button on the right (somewhat top) of the screen.

I think I did that right. That was so easy! How do I know if it is on there now?

OMG! I think it worked! I went back to my BLOG, went to EARNINGS, clicked on ADSENSE, and it pulled up AdSense which had Hubpages on it. So that means it is now the right account, correct?

That was so COOL and EASY! If I am correct that I did that right, well, Brandon, can I buy you a drink or a gift card?!?!? LOL.

Thank you SO much for the help!!

Haha. Glad you got it all worked out. I checked out your blog and don't see any ads. If you just put them up, it would take a while, but make sure you see them there, only then can you be certain that it's set up right.

OK. Now I totally messed things up, because the Felt and Hubpages are not listed under accounts, only my blog is (which has earned $0).

          PLEASE HELP ME - ANYONE!

Here is where I should have put the +1 and I did something else that was wrong.

I even clicked on Hubpages and it has a difference Adsense ID# and stuff now.

            I'm confused.

Under "Sites" shouldn't hubpages be listed?

Yes go ahead and add all the relevant hubpages and niche sites back up there with the plus button. Just make sure that the publisher ID on that adsense account you are signed in to is the same as the one here on HP.

I am sure it's the same, just making sure here. Each person can have just one Adsense account, so make sure it's the same. It is possible to create an adsense account through blogger, I'm hoping you haven't done that smile

Well, my Hubpages Client ID and Acct ID was like ####-76 or something. NOW it's ####-43 and flirtyknitter has the 76 account, so maybe I did??

Maybe I'm confused. Will a screenshot of something help clarify?

Thank you for spending time helping me!! Michele

      Psycheskinner,

If I did not do (or maybe you think I did not do - and I have not done it) what you wrote correctly, (which I may have not done it right), let me know and I can send a screenshot from my blog, under EARNINGS, as you advised. Sorry if that sentence made zero sense; I really don't know anything about blogs! Thank you for your help already!

I'm still not sure I did this right. Do I need to add every single hub (website URL) to the SITES section on AdSense? My Client ID and Account ID on HubPages doesn't match the one on Blogger.

I can show you a screenshot or whatever. Sorry if I am a spaz! I just don't understand this stuff. Anyone, please help! Thank you. Michele

Oops, didn't see the last post.

First things first, it is very obvious you have two adsense accounts. You need to figure out which one you want to use and close the other or just let it go. Pick the one that is older and that you used here on HP (maybe). Then go to your blogger blog and say add Adsense by signing in or something like that. Do not create or use the default Adsense stuff they give you. Apparently, you have your blog on another email ID than you do your main Adsense. That is the cause of all this.

I have spent the last 3 weeks trying to figure this out. I have like 4 Google accounts - some do have Adsense, but I removed them from Adsense or closed them down, so I only have a couple left and they don't appear to have Adsense anymore.

I just keep going around and around with these error messages, saying I have duplicate Adsense accounts etc. I'm really not sure how to fix this or where to go for help on this. I would greatly appreciate anyone who knows this stuff. I've written down on paper all the details as to what they said in the messages, etc.

At this point, I'd love to just delete everything I have on Google and start over with a fresh start. I already deleted all of my blogs in trying to make this thing work! That's how frustrated I am. So, I am open to destroying my computer - LOL as long as I get to beat Google in the end! lol

    Thanks

Missiong123, you asking for help in the wrong place.

Go to this Adsense Help Forum . I think you need to create a login account, so do that first, then post your original post from this forum there.

They are a knowledgeable and very helpful Adsense support forum that will give you the help you need - before you blow-up your computer.

Thank you for guiding me to that information. So far, I have not found anything that applies to me. There were several people who had the same questions that I did, but none of those were unfortunately. I'm going to run thru all the advice with all of my log in's one more time this week (each separately) and then I will explain the responses I get.

Hopefully, I will find the answer, but either way I will let you know the response! smile

        Thanks!
