How do you get people to follow you on a facebook page?  My personal account is easy, but I have a business page, that I cannot seem to figure out.

Put a link to it on your own website and anywhere else you can. Or buy FB advertising for it.

Share your Facebook business link with your family members and friends. Ask them to follow and make some interesting scraps and video in your Facebook home page.

I would add a link to a lot of your business advertising, as well as sometimes QR codes are now becoming a bigger thing to use to guide people to your facebook pages.  Also, if you have an event coming up with your business involved, advertise a contest on your facebook page and drive traffic to your facebook page by a contest.  I believe when i was managing the facebook page for my company, during one of our tradeshows we gave away a flip cam through facebook and it was a great way to get a lot of followers.  As long as the content you're publishing on facebook is going to valuable to the followers/your company, it would be worth investing minimal amounts of money into it.  It worked out greatly for my old company.  This new company I work for we actually offer free shipping through the facebook page, and we get about a dozen orders a month from facebook (which is very minimal considering we do over 1000 orders a month) but still, it's something and it is profitable, and hopefully it will grow in the future.

I also have personal and a business account in Fb and I just placed a link there where my fans can easily access. Fb gives you the privilege of making it possible but yes you can also purchase an ad here for better exposure.

So you put a face book link onto your site?  I believe I tried that, but it would only let me put my PERSONAL fb link.

No, I don't advertise on Facebook-This is because I left Facebook a year ago because I was fed up with it.  Then I discover twice in the last week that my Facebook account had been reactivated.  How? I haven't a clue.  No one knows what my password is.  I don't want to waste 8 hours on Facebook anymore, not as a private account.  Facebook would be fine for a business, I guess, but a bit of a nightmare when used for personal reasons.

You'll need to repeat and rinse a few times all these good suggestions.  Doing it once probably won't get much return.  People need to be reminded about a product/page to act.
