If a cruise ship wrecks, breaks down or anything I believe the travelers should be reimbursed all or part of their money. You paid for a vacation, nothing more, nothing less.
They have already said they will be getting some money back.
They are. They're getting a full refund, plus a voucher for another cruise.
I agree they should be compensated. I think Carnival PR was one step ahead with this considering their sister Italian cruise line, Costa Cruises had a poor response to the shipwrecking incident.

If you were a politician and you could push through one policy, or one law change, or perform one major action.... what would it be?Ignore the protocol, I know that you have to get things agreed, but if that was not the case. Your choice was final, like a genie in a bottle, what would it be?Mine...

In light of the recent cruise disaster covered on the news would you still go on a cruise and why?I went on a carnival cruise to canada and loved it. I'm trying to talk my best friend in to going on one and then the dreaded fire on the boat broke out and she's not budging.
