Why did Lee Harvey Oswald assassinate John Fitzgerald Kennedy in Dallas, Texas?
I am curious to know why Oswald shot him as his motorcade passed through Dallas.
I think because he lived nearby and if he chose somewhere else he would have had to travel to do so.
I think the consensus is that he didn't, or not alone. Non of the forensics make sense unless there was at least another gunman.
The short answer is that he didn't. See http://www.ratical.com/ratville/JFK/ToA/ToA.html . After very extensive reading of researcher's finding, this pulls together the whole of all the data and facts into the most accurate conclusions I've ever read.
