Hawaii in the US is my all time favorite. Secondly it would be Scotland in the UK.  The weather isn't great but I love the history.

Among the countries I visited I liked a lot Spain followed by (modestly my country) Italy.

Kenya with safaries in the park and with wild animals were also great.

Italy. I loved how modern day met ancient times, most tradition was still alive. I stayed away from touristy areas, and loved the Italian approach to life and love and food. I absolutely loved Rome and I am not Catholic at all, for its architecture, museums, art, and fountains. I love the ideas of building the new upon the old and excavating out the old to find out what came before. I was so interested in the pre-Christian roots and what buildings were before they were taken. I love the forum and the reverence to all things holy and I am in awe of the faithful. I loved Tuscany. I want to go back, I missed Venice and Sicily. I have not one drop of Italian blood in me either, but its awesome.

My favorite countries are as follows -

The top favorite is the United States and that is because it is the land of possibilities. Even in this deep economic recession as long as you do not break the law you are free to do what ever you can and want to take care of yourself and family.  To be sure, it helps if you come from a family with money but that is the case in every country. In the U.S.A. you can make it big even if you are not from a well to do family.

The cleanest country I have ever been in is Singapore. Actually it is not fair to compare Spore to other countries because it is small in size.  There is no place on earth as clean and well planned out as Singapore.

The friendliest people I have met are in Indonesia.  People in Indonesia smile even when they are nervous and if you ask someone for help they almost always will do what they can.

    EGYPT!!!

because of its agriculture and land, the old is still something they hold onto and you can feel it when you visit!!

The food is amazing I was lucky enough to taste the beef and didnt get sick, it was very wholesome nothing like the west!(a must)

El-Fayum=Salt lake and looks like an ocean,, very surreal, something that you have to experience.

Finally the friendly kind nature of the people, esp..the women it only takes a nodd to skow respect, love and courage from women to women.

    Good Question!
    Happy travels
    Nj

France so far, which came as a shock being English. Yet to do Australia, Pacific Islands and the subcontinent, Italy and Spain were good, have not seen much of New Zealand yet. Anything with stunning Geology and Fauna.

Skiing in the Alps of Chamonix one day, relaxing on the beaches of Nice or Cannes the next, TGV up to Paris for fresh crepes and then a bus to Monet's Gardens at Giverny . . . it has to be France for me.
