Now that summer is upon us, what is your fantasy vacation?
Give us more: Where, why, and with whom?
Give me my own space on a tropical island, with my bible, and a daily portion of roasted fish or shrimp with some month worth of ginger ale soda. Why? Cause there's no better time to soak in more about the Lord than NOW!
I have a couple hubs on summer vacations, but most of them are for saving money If I had unlimited money supply I would charter a yacht and spend 3 months by the Hawaiian Islands, like a little bee sucking nectar from each beautiful island!!!
Lol! It is winter here but like summer up in Broome ! My fantasy is ( one of them ) a few days in a beach hut in an exotic location which we are doing on Wednesday at Cape Leveque so we can go snorkeling , hope catch a fish to cook on the open fire , make love under the stars etc ! We are on our fantasy as we are traveling around Aussie, Just been camel riding !!
An RV/Camping trip all the way through the Rocky Mountains.
I'd love to drive a hopped-up Porsche 911 from the mid to late 80's in a gaint circle around the western USA. WB
Phi Phi Island, Thailand. I'd just hang out and write some Hubs, tour the islands if I got bored, maybe take SCUBA lessons. :-)
An island on the carribean. Cayman island would be perfect. White sands and turquoise ocean. I'd never leave.
My fantasy vacation is to visit and stay at the Aman Jiwo hotel in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia and climb to the top of the temple Borobudur. Largest Buddhist temple in the world.
going to the Dominican republic to stay in my beach house for a week. The just relaxing and doing nothing!
I want to go to Maldives and explore the wonders of the Indian Ocean. Well, i would also like to take a peak of Madrid, Spain and experience its pulsating night life. I actually wrote a hub about it. you might want to read it

I would love to be at a seaside resort to relax for this vacation.
I think the resort in Australia will be fine with my family. It has been a while since we can relax ourselves so this long vacation will help us to de-stress. Since it has always been a hectic schedule to keep up with working life so a holiday proof to be the best way to relax.
Going to Greenland would be my choice. I know it may sound a ridiculous choice for a vacation. I'm completely fascinated biy the concept of 'frozen' and in a perpetual way.
The kind of climate I'm used to, is one of mildness and of rarely experiencing the exteme. The thought of shivering and having to don thick winter clothing to trek on the ice field fills me with a wonder for our planet in its diversity.
Because I write children's stories that touch on global warming and ice melt issues in the Arctic, I would love to experience at first hand some of this ice melt - not too close at hand of course, I'm not a thrill junkie.
The thought of how the animals are suffering - like the polar bear - due to the lack of ice floes, fills me with a compassion for their plight.
Outside of changing global concerns, I would love to experience the wonders and beauty of this ice world - so different to my usual world. Just to experience the Northern Lights, the everlasting daylight of the summer, the large pods of whales and dolphins, the Greenlanders and their stories of climatic change, the resident scientists and their projects are among my expectations.
There's a danger of course, if I go there, I may not want to go home, I would be so taken up with the extensive significance of this last great wilderness on our earth.
All I need is a large sum of money and I'm on my way. I nearly went there a few years ago to do research for a children's book, but it was so expensive and I would have to pay for someone else that I decided not to go. What regret I have now.

YOU HAVE BEEN REPORTED. "This guy is a spam clown and, even though I have only been a Hubber for 2 weeks, I realize that this post is not in the best interest of the spirit which is HP. Get him out of here!"
