Where would you visit on a short holiday to Italy?
I will be in Italy for only one week. If you only had one week where would you go and what would you do?
If I only have one week to visit Italy, I would choose Rome. Rome has a lot of sightseeing tour and history to offer. Vatican City with the St Peters Cathedral, Trivee fountain, Colloseum, Spanish steps and many others. Don't forget to visit the Sisteen Chapel where the freskos of the great painter Michael Angelo are located together with many other great painters.
I visited Italy for one week too. Managed to visit Rome->Florence (short detour to Pisa)-> Venice. Check my hubs for more information. You may wish to use my itinerary
I agree with the others. Rome is an absolute must! There is just so much to see there and do. I hope you have a grest trip!

Can Holy Mary visit and move about freely in Italy in her dresses she was used to wear as we see her depicted in the Catholic Churches? I think perhaps the new laws when enacted won’t allow her.
