If we're talking Great Britain, i'd say Scotland. Especially Edinburgh, but all of it and any of it. Love that place smile

If we're talking England like England, London is of course worth a trip, and I had a great experience at Oxford. Don't know much else from the country, only been there once. If you're taking a trip, have a good time!

There are so many beautiful places in England. London of course has alot of attractions but outside there it really depends on how long you have and what you enjoy. We have both beautiful coutryside and and stunning coastline. One thing is for sure and that is there will always be history to almost everywhere you do plan to visit!  Enjoy.

Make sure you at least visit Cornwall as that has the most amazing places like St Ives , Polperro & walk along the coast for a start . We loved Bodium Castle in Kent ?There are so many nice areas - York, Lake District ....
As I am from Wales & it is so close I reccommend a drive thru there as well !
We are planning a trip next year using the "Camp in my Garden " to save on accommodation !

I would recommend a visit to Stratford upon Avon, its a remarkable little town, and of course the home of Shakespeare. While there, you can visit his theatre, plus see the house he grew up in, and also the house that his wife grew up in. I'd also recommend a visit to the Cotswolds, the hilly country that stretches south from the Midlands almost all the way to London. If you ever want to visit a traditional English country village, then that's the place to go.
