What one city in the world you have visited, would you not recommend to others to see and why?
Ochos Rios, Jamaica. We stopped there while on a cruise and I hated it. It was dirty, crowded, and there were people on every corner offering you drugs or trying to get you to go with them. I'm sure staying at Sandals or another resort would be better but I still don't plan on ever going back.
Manila, Philippines. The traffic is horrendous and it is so very over crowded and dirty. Maybe just passing through in the international airport or staying in a hotel close by would not be so bad. But trying to get anywhere in the city takes hours of slow progress of poorly controlled traffic in a huge city.
Thanks Ms Dee, I've never been to the Philippines but I know the traffic congestion and noise in big cities can be a nightmare.Hopefully it did'nt totally ruin your trip! Thanks for your input!
We lived in the Philippines for a while and our kids went to an international school there. One learns to plan a long travel time there and what transport is the best way.

I'm going to start traveling across the U.S. next year, and I want to know where your favorite places are to visit in the U.S. I want National/State Parks, camp grounds, cities, sacred sites, etc...... and why do you recommend I go there.

I think the best food I have had was in Montreal Canada. They had this awesome Chinese place that had some kind of breakfast sandwich for like 50 cents. It was the best sandwich I ever had, so I had 3 of them!Another great place there was the Bistro. A multilevel street cafe, where they cook...
