Dauphin Island in Mobile, AL. is a great place to visit. It's right off the gulf coast. Or I would suggest Gulf Shores which is a place more for tourists.

    San Antonio Texas.

The River Walk is an absolute must see and if you have time have a bite to eat on a boat as you meander along the river.

A lot of the film "Miss Congeniality" was shot on location here.

Don't forget this is also home to the Alamo.

I was at the river walk in the 90's. Beautiful place to spend an evening.

Hot Springs National Park is very unique. We lived there for a few years. The historic district has a lot to offer. The rest of town leaves a bit to be desired. The Arlington is impressive with over 400 rooms. They offer hot baths and messages. Very relaxing!
