Do you take trips to avoid the cold during winter or the heat during summer?

Where do you go to escape the winter freezes or the summer heat waves?  Or do you stay home?

I avoid the cold at all costs! I'm definitely a snowbird, I travel south to Florida once every winter if I can, even if it's just for a week.

Yes, avoid heat in the summer. I LOVE winter and all things snow!

I love the winter so I often stay at home! I get hot too easily!

I use too, but a few years ago fixed the problem, I moved to San Diego.

Sighs, I have to work so I can't take trips that much.  If I had the choice I would go south like Florida in the winter and maybe back home for the summer.

In the autumn of 1985 I escaped the cold and snow of the Great White North. I never returned to the Great White North except to escape the summer heat of the Sunburn State every 4 or 5 summers.

We always do every winter. We choose a different place each time as we love to learn more about other cultures. This winter, it is Spain and Portugal.

I'm actually moving from NC to TX this weekend. No more bitter cold for me!

I try to avoid the summer heat - and the long lines! - but I try not to go when it's too cold, so I usually travel around May or October. That way the weather is nice and the lines shorter.
