   Do you work on your "unfeatured" hubs to improve them? Or let them stay unfeatured?
   
   On your hub list, when you see the message "This hub is not featured because it doesn't receive sufficient engagement" next to one of your hubs, are you likely to revamp the hub to try to get it featured?  Or do you let those hubs fall to the wayside instead of improving them?

   I always try to improve them I even try to do it before hand, like when the traffic starts dropping. I use the goals and style tips in the upper right hand corner in the Hub Tool when editing. I have some that don't get a lot of traffic, so I'm considering not editing them anymore and if they go unfeatured just leaving them or even moving them. Not sure yet.

   I try to keep up with them, but I must admit this last week i have been ignoring them! lol! I do think its a good idea to update them otherwise they are just going to waste.

   No, I am moving my stuff out and have only two hubs left. If they get unfeatured I delete them from the sight.

   I currently only have a little over 100 hubs.  I did delete a few sleepy ones, but  also brought  remaining ones up to par. For the most part it was only  a matter of attributing photos.
   You might try tweeting a few hubs, or pinning your photos.

      only 100? lol  Rochelle.  To chef-de-jour - I might unpublish to work on them, but I wouldn't delete, just tweak.  Then keep recirculating your 6 hubs every few days and traffic may rise. It is working on awordlover's hubs, it may work for others

   Currently I don't have any not featured but if it did happen I would want to work on them, try to get them back up to standard.

   I do not give up on what I have done wrong. I keep trying to figure out the problem. Even if I only work on it for only half an hour a day, I do not give up until I have conquered it!

   I only have a small selection of hubs so far. (7 to be exact.) Before hubpages started putting hubs into 'unfeatured' status due to low engagement, they all had that lovely little symbol next to them showing they were featured...Then a few of them were unfeatured due to low engagement and it drove me crazy. lol. I put all this work into hubs and it was frustrating to me that people weren't even able to find them on my profile anymore... How are they supposed to get more engagement if people can't even find them? It maddened me a bit at first... But going back and editing them, I found it wasn't really that difficult to get them back into featured status.. It really just required adding a few more photos and a little tweaking here and there.
   
   I've managed to get all but one back into featured status.. I have yet to go back in and edit the last one because I've been trying to focus on writing new hubs and not obsessively maintaining the few I have.  I do plan on editing that last one though. After I reworked the couple that were unfeatured I found that traffic did rise on them, so I trust that the people at hubpages know what they're talking about.
   
   My next goal is to try and get one of my hubs picked as an editors choice. At first I wasn't impressed with this new system, but now I find it quite helpful. The little 'helpful hints' they put up in the right hand corner when you're writing a hub makes it easier to make sure you hit everything you need to in order to ensure your hubs get featured.
   
   If I ever write a hub that I'm not completely in love with, I might let it fall by the wayside if it's ever unfeatured in the future, but for right now I have such a small collection of work in comparison to a lot of people on here, that I want to try and maintain them as best as I can.. I find the only challenge is to not get to caught up in spending all my time on the few hubs I do have and spending enough time writing new ones.
   
   However, if I ever get a hub that becomes unfeatured due to low quality, I would be all over that in a split second. lol. I'd rather have a small collection of really well written hubs than a ton of them that aren't quite up to par!

      change your 6 hubs around every few days so that all of your hubs get a chance to be showcased. On the one you don't have featured yet, update it with video, photo, links, or even amazon capsule, see if it gets featured.

   I plan to work on them in the future, although I do tend to concentrate on making featured hubs better and also writing new content. At some stage when I have some free time, I do intend to get them featured.

    No I can't be bothered. No one can seriously believe there is money to be made from hubbing, at least not enough to give up a day job. My day job pays me at a certain rate, and unless another source of income will pay an equivalent or more, there's no point in it.

    As some hubbers know, we've been working on awordlover's hubs trying to moderate the comments as well as update the older hubs where the photos have no attribution or bad links in the hubs.  I think it is in our best interests to keep our hubs updated - whether they hold timely information or not, as well as move them around in the top 6 spots for showcasing. If you get revenue from your work from any of the ad programs, each hub should be treated as if they were a silver spoon because at some point they are paying you (some peanuts, some filet mignon).   I've been moving her hubs around om the top 6 and now traffic is rising on some of the ones I moved.  On the hubs that were not featured, a few tweaks of some videos and updated links as well as adding more or better photos made them become featured.  I also moved some of the non-featured hubs into the top 6 after tweaking them so that traffic increased.  When you make a photo, link or video alteration on your non featured hubs, they go thru QA.  I am surprised at how so many of her hubs have become featured now.  awordlover only has 29 hubs and 25 are featured. Last month only 18 were featured.  So it does help to work on them and to keep tabs on them in case the links become bad due to unpublishing or websites that make changes so that their links become different.
    This question has received some good feedback and hopefully will prompt hubbers to update.

    I have two unfeatured hubs and I have done some dusting, tweaking and editing on it but it's still unfeatured. I don't give, I'll work on it.

    I make sure that all my hubs are featured and add fresh content whenever I find it even if it is a featured hub.

    I occasionally rework them but I do not worry too much about it or try and keep them all featured all of the time. I do keep all of them listed on my profile page. I know some have said not to do that but I do and I find that some of those non-featured hubs get read every once-and-a-while.

    I check my account and make sure my hubs stay featured and if something changes, I edit the hubpage to see if there are any error or new recommendations. I also go through my list of hubs from time to time to see if there is any new content I can add, or if any content needs updating. As our number of hubs increases, it may be increasingly challenging to update all our hubs periodically. Thereafore, I strive to make all hubs "forever" hubs, making sure content can be referenced and used forever, for the most part.

    I try to make sure that my hubs will get featured before I even post them. I think it's pretty easy to know what it takes, and if isn't proper, I wont post it. A few of my hubs did not get featured, so yes, I improved them. I have deleted a few too, if I realized it was no good at all.

    I have worked on all my hubs,  deleted hubs that didn't have the correct word amount and started all new, and made sure all my hubs are featured. I revamped all my hubs, and have one hub chosen for Editor's Choice

    Yes, I've had one flagged for duplicate content. I had to learn the hard way that we aren't supposed to double publish. I had included some information, a teaser, in my youtube and other pages with a back link. After hubpages unpublished my hub for duplicate content, I removed the paragraphs from the other sites, rewrote some sections, and then it was restored.
