For those who don't know, Simone is all over youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INz7BwekPJo is just one example. I'm guessing there are maybe a 100 more. @Simone. I find you to be quite advanced. As an example, I never could do public speaking, I've tried, but am just unable. You are also living life to the fullest. Keep doing that. In fact, I haven't posted this in awhile, so I shall do so again.big_smile It is what I try to live by.

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

I will miss Simone's quick responses to questions, no matter how silly the question, she never made you feel ignorant or blonde. She always respected Hubbers whether they were just getting started or been here for 3 years. Well done job Simone and thank you for your time to help us all. You will do great at your new journey and I wish you well!

I will miss the many excellent ways Simone has helped transform HubPages during her time here.  Her role in implementing the fantastic updates to the Learning Center is just one example of her gift for converting input from Hubbers to salient and relevant improvements to the site.

I will miss her sweet quirkiness that made her so genuine and original, truly one-of-a-kind. In fact, she's so original that I could never figure out where she's from - California? Australia? Is she American? She just has a way with words and expression that I found to be all her own. Her energy will be missed in this cyberspace. smile

Here's a few reasons why we'll miss her:
    That bow.
    Her smile.
    Her funny posts.
    Her compassionate posts.
    Her compassionate and funny posts.
    Her friendliness.
Like Sherry, I was hugely encouraged early on by Simone's friendly and supportive approach.

Thank you for all that Simone.

Still, in our family, we have a constant little Simone reminder because seeing her photo inspired one of my daughters to start wearing bows in her hair, and she's been wearing them almost every day since!

Simone seems to be everywhere on HubPages and able to do just about anything.  I've loved her Hubs and her help to all the apprentices.  She is relentlessly upbeat, cheerful and fun.  I was encourged by reading her humor to try to add more of that to my own writing because I love to read her writing because it shows her personality.  Many good wishes to you!

  32. watergeek profile image95

Simone always has a good word. Not only in the apprenticeship program, but also outside of it, she gives complimentary and genuine feedback. That and her optimism help fuel my own and keep me motivated to write. I've slacked off a little here, but am writing other places, building a freelance business. Simone helped validate my skills and I really appreciate that!

Forgot to mention - Simone doesn't sleep.  I am sure of it.  No matter how early you get on the forum, she is always there.  And her answers are lucid - she is not Sleep-Posting (or whatever the Internet equivalent of somnambulism is).  I will miss that!

I'm sorry guys. In my excitement to reply and the fact that I haven't been on here much in almost a week I skimmed to the bottom to hit reply. What the heck, why is Simone leaving? Simone's stormtrooper dating hub is one of my favorites and I don't want that humor to leave! Why is our world being turned upside down by this amazingly creative talent from my home state? You can't leave Simone. What would we do without your quick responses to our stressed out queries? Thank you for always being a huge help in any and every way!

Her wonderful genuine sense of humour and her ability to just be "out there" and do it with such aplomb! Those hats...oh my, and have you seen the Hub with her many expressions? As someone who draws...thank you! How did she know such a Hub was needed? Keyword search , I believe!

On forums she manages to smooth ruffled feathers and make us all feel "special".  Such a gift!
