Will we be seeing any type of forum sticky or a forum dedicated to FAQ's (like HubScore, HupPages affiliates, etc. ) in the near future? I think it's something really important to have with all the new users.
Maybe a new forum can be created with these "must reads" like the Announcements one that was recently added.
Great idea! It'll be an ongoing project, but here's the start:
HubPages FAQ Thread
Oh, thank Heaven for that!
I can take the "no, you don't need to put the Amazon widget on each Hub, just paste your affiliate ID ..." spiel out of my autotype basket.
Jenny
Some great idea actually do happen if you are patient enough
Thank you
WooHoo! Ha. I just saw it. Great job Maddie!
Do you plan on adding to it?
Yes, we will be adding to it regularly, as things come up. I know there's a lot more to put in there, but I wanted to get the thread up and running. Look for more to be added either today or over the weekend!
Yes, I think this will be great! It's good to know that more will be added...
Maddie - Maybe you can add a sticky about the following as they seem to be FAQ's:
Can I really make money on hubpages?
How to get traffic to my hubs?
If I think of more, I'll add them. Everyone else, what else do you think are popular FAQ's that should be stickied?
HubPages is off to a flying start, Maddie. I'll be visiting the new forum frequently. I'll bet I have enough questions to keep you going indefinitely.
Great job Maddie!
I think this is an excellent idea. It's not only a great service for new Hubbers, but a helpful refresh and reference source to more long standing members.
I'll certainly utilize it to catch-up on further learning to improve my Hub-abilities. ;-)
I see my HubScore hub is added!
Here's another that gets a lot of positive feedback: How HubPage Tracking Works.
Darkside: Your tracking hub is also included there, if you look under "How do I make money for referrals?" I'll be referring to quality hubs that users have put together, as well as forum threads that covered topics thoroughly, as well as FAQ and help pages, in that sticky.
belief713: I will definitely add those two questions to the sticky sometime this weekend.
Glad everyone's having such a positive reaction. I hope this will make all our jobs a lot easier, as well as provide newbies with a lot more support coming in.
Cool! I missed that one.
Also don't forget Content. Paul's http://hubpages.com/hub/Evergreen_Content hub has some good pointers.
Yeah, that one definitely. I was looking for that the other day!
Here's another one on AdSense Channels

Also, I'm not sure if a lot of people realize they can join HubPages fan club
http://hubpages.com/fans/add/hubpages
or see their articles

This is excellent. I wish it was around when I first joined.
...let's hope people read it.
The forum evolvements look excellent.. It will make things much easier for old n new hubbers..
Good job

There's been a lot of discussion of forum rules and policies recently, as well as criticism of the HubPages staff, so Paul and I agreed that a thread reiterating our position was in order. The rules are very clear:No personal attacks in the forums. Substantive debate and differences of opinion...

Hi folks,I know, it's *another* suggestion from me, but y'know, if you're going to demonstrate that you listen to, act on and welcome our suggestions, what can you expect? (Seriously, it's great that you guys are so responsive and have the best interests of the community at heart, so I'm very...

Okay this is great! I downloaded it this morning, and it's really working wonderfully. We all know Edweirdo, a very clever and useful hubber who created the HubDefender tool for us all which detects hub-theft and assists in dealing with it. Edweirdo has also written many helpful tutorial hubs on...

I posted a forum about the seal hunt in canada today and added a link to a magazine for people to read the article and then come back here to discuss it. Now the forum is gone. Was that a no-no? I'm sorry if I broke the rules if I did, I didn't realize.Sincerely,Megs

We added this forum for official announcements and also a science forum. In addition, we reworked the name and descriptions of the existing HubPages forums. Hopefully the purpose of each one is a little more clear now.You can also delete fan mail permanently now, almost the same...

My new hub has had advertising automatically disabled. As far as I can tell, it does not violate Adsense policy. Who should I contact? Is it Maddie?
