Hey, can anyone tell me why I'm not making any money yet?

I got about halfway down the first page before I decided I had read enough...

My thought on all of this is that I am hear to make money online. Straight up. I am still learning, but SEO is ever changing. It's never an "I know it all now" experience. SEO is a vast, vast land. In my 9 or 10 months on HP, I have made about $30.00 total and that's fine. Every day it seems to be growing more and more and as time passes my hubs age, and hopefully move up.

I do agree with Ryan that sometimes I read threads and LOL. Sometimes I read threads and someone will ask a question and get defensive at the response. Again, these people don't deserve help.

I personally realize that HP is a community with so many helpful people, willing to assist if you have a genuine interest in the process. People that think they can just come here post a couple of articles and ask why they haven't made anything DON'T deserve to be here.

HP IS time consuming and you need to know what you are doing. I came here because I have a friend that used to work with me, but was a victim of being laid off. He told me about this site as he was just dabbling prior to and is now just posting. Yeah, that said, he now makes MUCH more money than I do per week, and he hubs hubs hubs. I get up at 6 am to be to work from 7-3:30 and he is able to take a couple of days off and basically do whatever he wants. That's why I am here. To hopefully make a few extra dollars. My ultimate goal would be to work on hubpages and build my own niche sites, but for now hubpages is a great platfrom and I have seen that you can be very successful when done correctly.

I have also enjoyed a few hubs that I have written offering advice on topics I understand, but people that say they aren't here for the money, I am about AS SICK OF THAT as I am of get rich quick threads.
