So wondering if Cyber Monday has a good impact on everyone? It's noon here and so far I have had numerous clicks on Adsense and 2 purchases!

Does the cyber frenzie seem to continue more than just today???

I thought today would be good. Yesterday was my cyber monday. I made $8.46 with adsense. Today my traffic is down, and CTR etc..

I thought adsense was supposed to be good on cyber monday? I mean yesterday was great.

hello paula, I hope you are enjoying more clicks but you know don't have adsense yet so I don't have any idea. My page views are as usual today.

It takes at least 6 months of good content to get Adsense approval in India or Asia.

I don't expect too much extra revenue. People tend to do online shopping on Cyber Monday, which means they might be bypassing my pages and going right to the online stores they know. There's a possibility they might come to something I've created for a review of a product and click through from there, but I wouldn't count on it.

I haven't jumped on the "product review" bandwagon yet, so I got nuthin' from amazon.. Clicks are down, but that's to be expected.  Hopefully everyone else is having a better time of it..

Not really - my traffic is down by about 50% so far today.  I'm praying that the rest of the day is better.

Down very hard for me.  $10 from Adsense at 6:30 pm, half or less of normal Monday.

Actually, it ended up at $25.00, which is still down, but better than expected by what it had been doing all day. I sold a few books too  so the day was OK.  Not great, but OK.  November Adsense still could hit $1,000 but it will have to be more than a $40 day today.

Yeah I notice my adsense is down today but not by much. However the past few days have been fantastic for my Amazon sales and I expect today will be great.

Will not know until they update the stats tomorrow of course. I have Amazon product pages on my own websites that get SE hits so it's been going very well.

Now that I know how well Amazon product pages the way I've been making them work I'm going to have dozens! smile

From all the years where I was working internet retail, I can say that the Monday right after Thanksgiving was not always the best Monday.

It's too early for all the last-minute internet purchases.  I bet either the 6th or 13th does way better than today.

yep, my Adsense earnings today look like they are going to be just average. Maybe Amazon will be better tomorrow!

Same here - I broke the £5.00 barrier yesterday!  I suppose it's too much to hope that I'll earn £10.00 in Adsense today and thereby make my third payout this month as opposed to next month lol

      1. WryLilt profile image87
WryLiltposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Yep, I don't think there's any chance that after taking 11 months to make my first payout I could make my second the following month. Ah well, we'll definitely make payout next month, right?

I would hope so - just as well, 'cos the money would be really welcome. Those council tax and gas/electricity bills don't pay themselves!

Sunday was my personal best for Adsense at $14. It looks like Cyber Monday Ended up just over $7 but I always grateful! smile

My adsense for the month is very nicely up. Best month ever, no doubt. However, for 'Cyber Monday' it was really just average, and with suddenly lower-valued clicks, which kind of surprised me.

Despite this, I know my traffic was up and I hit a new daily high yesterday there.

Waiting on Amazon to update to see how well it converted into sales...

My Adsense for Cyber Monday was over $30 - three times higher than what I normally make so needless to say I am anxious for the Amazon sales to update.

Relache posted an interesting article last night about Cyber Monday being a myth and that the best online sales day is actually somewhere around mid-Dec - it did say a date but can't remember - will dig out the link if anyone interested. I am very much hoping she is right.

There really is no such thing as the "best day".

You can have a great day when 90% of us are sucking mud and vice versa.

However, the second Monday or Tuesday in December is often good - but not always!

Today is when you will see what you sold on cyber Monday, yesterday. It's not updated yet however. Might be real late if it was a heavy day. Can't wait to see! smile

Yeh it was the 13th, which honestly makes more sense to me. 2nd Monday in December, but kind of a reasonable deadline date for people who want to make sure they get it in time.

So the first Cyber Monday is only the 6th or 7th biggest internet shopping day of the year. I'm okay with that!

I'm hoping my just average adsense performance combined with the spike in traffic indicate strong amazon conversion.
