With the 3am mark past and adsense rolled to a new day, I can celebrate my first 100 dollar day using only hub sources
Yesterday and today i enjoyed my highest amazon sales ever at almost 1500 in sales to amazon and almost reached 100 yesterday also.
I still have 7 days to maybe see even more results from ePn trickle in.
How? Well, i cant be sure with only two days of stats, but between jumping on the cyber monday trend, taking advantage of google "news" rankings and turning my twitter on overdrive for the two days (lost ten followers ) and using the backlink sources Ive mentioned a few times..one or all of those factors worked!
This is by no means my regular return on hubpages yet ...but between Nelles (http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/28701 )post and my results today..Im pretty optimistic about some serious returns this holiday season
Anyody get some big surprises this CyberMonday/Black friday weekend?
Congrats!
This is very interesting! I took a look at some of your articles and can't wait to read them!
thanks, I noticed a response you made in a thread about writing online that mentioned you are working from home and need to make the most out of it.
with that in mind, I suggest reading Nelles thread which is hyperlinked above and use her as an example..just a couple of months in, HUGE output, focused plan of attack and great results.
Thanks for the tip! It seems you are well on your way to great things here! Best of luck for continued and growing success!!
Dana
that's great news for you!! when I saw your new hub yesterday, I was hoping to find out you had a successful day.
there is a lot to learn from you and Nelle and others who are bringing in the $.
Am I the only one who can't make sense of this post?
Nice job!
My cyber Monday was no different than any other day. Amazon keeps giving me log in issues, so who knows if 1) I made any sales or 2) if I did, if they will be credited to me.
Great News Sunforged!!!!
Maybe I'll have to start twitting again. (I used to lose alot of followers too.) Backlinks - however you do them - are really very important - very tedious, but I can't stress how important.
After reading about Dale Mazurek's success with article marketing, that's become a goal for me in 2010. I always try to add new skills every year.
Thanks!
On tweeting/twitter:
My old free system of automatic scheduled tweets stopped working..twitter recently disallowed any partner sites to allow scheduling.
Finally, got around to implementing a desktop based system and was sending out tweets every 3-5 minutes(usually, i do around every 20 minutes, plus i add naturally using twitterbar https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4664) - losing 15 followers out of 4.5K was an ok tradeoff..I only link to my articles and throw in random quotes I appreciate, I dont expect most of my followers even notice..i probably lost users with small accounts that probably had nothing but my tweets in their feed..i would unfollow me too
although I only see twitter as a marketing tool, i try to be value driven..no straight links to offers or crap ebooks or anything, descriptive text with links...it works! when I have the system on it generates between 100-300 clicks a day (to my sites, not my ads)...I had to pay or my current twitter software and im not regretting it
thanks again everyone...its easily repeatable this holiday season and Habee..a 12 day is awesome on adsense! congrats
Congrats!
My cyberMonday was not as good as yours, I spent mine in the hospital getting my ankle x-rayed. Luckily no breaks, just a damaged ligament or torn, they couldn't tell me .
I do hope to have a day when I have news such as yours to share, with a day job I expect it will take more hubs for me to experience something like that! My hubs are a lot of trial and error in learning what works for me that people will actually want to read and enjoy. Who knows maybe I will get fired or something and will suddenly have more time to write hubs and increase my experience/ability . Funny how a job can feel like a trap
Sorry to hear that KB Hopefully things will look up soon.
Way to go SF! Heres to many more!
WrenFrost, my mother in law took me to the hospital yesterday and commented, so this is how you are going to get more time to write your hubs!
I guess there really is a silver lining to every cloud
Mine pretty much was a bust all the way around but I'm still pretty new to this and didn't really have the grasp that I have now. Moving forward I am working on a plan to have this kind of output for next year. Hopefully what I have learned in the past few months here will make a difference in my income next year.
Congrats to those of you that did really well this past weekend and are seeing the fruits of your hard work.
Wow, Sun, that's great! And to think I was excited about the $12 I made yesterday from Adsense...lol!
My Amazon and ebay stats haven't updated yet, so I don't know how cyber Monday went on hubpages. Adsense looks good. And I had a nice number of clicks on Ebay, but until I see the value of those clicks, who knows?
The rest of my websites had a pretty good day. About in the middle of my past cyber Mondays.
I can't speak yet since my Amazon page hasn't updated for Monday yet, my Friday-Sunday earnings there were over $100 which is hugely uncommon for me plus a decent increase from AdSense. I'm really hoping for another ten items shipped though.
The non-updating Amazon report, is very frustrating today. (It hasn't been this late in months.) I need 1 more item to move to the next commission tier. And a bunch of stuff that was ordered might have shipped yesterday. I'm in the mood for a conspiracy theory.
That's awesome Sunforged! I made zero on Amazon on cyber Monday and less than $3 on Adsense.
I suck. LOL
Don't feel bad KCC! I suck worse.
I made $1.09 on Adsense, nothing on Amazon. But I've been kinda absent and out of it for the past six weeks.
Even when I'm NOT out of it, I don't rake it in though.
At least I'm in good company. Hope you and Bill are doing better!
Lol, I made about $4-$5 on 'CyberMonday'.... I had a much better 'SuperSunday'
I'll ask over here, on our hubs that aren't specifically selling a product, can we only use tags from the hub text, or can we use tags for items listed in an amazon capsule?
Congrats to all you high rollers, I got .32 cents on adsense yesterday. Not my all time high! But things are picking up so High ho High ho its off to hub I go!
I received nothing from AdSense on Black Friday or Cyber Monday but I had 4 Amazon sales on Black Friday which more than doubles my total Amazon sales. Now if only the orders convert to final sales.
Wow Sunforged that is great! My Cyber Monday scored me a little over eight dollars. I had a good Cyber Saturday though where I almost made as much as I did Monday. My Amazon hasn't come through yet, maybe they are busy calculating all the money I made.. NOT. I am not holding my breath on that
This is very good news, and I am very excited about Nelle's news. I was excited myself for a $53 Adsense in November which is only one month after my very first payout. I will be spending much more time on Hubpages in 2010.
My ebay has been erratic so far, with click amounts ranging all over the place, but I have set up a strategy that I think will really pay out next year.
I think that we will see this Christmas season get compressed a lot towards the end of the season even online.
I still have to learn how to take advantage of Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but that will have to wait for next year.
That is an awesome take sunforged! I had a couple of good adsense clicks, but nothing else. I also used twitter some yesterday, but got only clicks from that, no Amazon orders...lotta clicks, though.
Congratulations to everyone who did well this month and over the start to the festive shopping. Hope it carries on at least until Christmas!
Just got home after a day of errands and appointments. The whole time I was wondering what did Amazon and Ebay do yesterday? My total Commissions - Amazon: $52.78, Ebay $35.27, Adsense $10.22 for a total of $98.27.
Not too shabby. I am going to work to beat you next year. LOL

Amazon earnings are updated for yesterday and I had my best day!! Seen over $800 of items ordered, once these ship it will take me into the 6.5% category. Probably small fish to some of you but it will help me break my Amazon earning record set last month.

Between server problems at Hubpages and stuff being out of whack. Then ebay crashing on one of my best traffic days. I am totally frustrated. One of the busiest online shopping days and alot of my work is just not up to speed - due to forces quite beyond my control. Online shopping peaks much...

So now that the holiday buying has kicked in I'm looking forward to my Amazon stats. Of course today I see they are late getting updated!

This probably is one of the worse days of my life, after so much effort I have put online, here I stand with my Adsense account disabled due to invalid click activity. I don't have any clue why this happened! I have been here at Hubpages for more than 3 years and make more than 90% of my earning...

So wondering if Cyber Monday has a good impact on everyone? It's noon here and so far I have had numerous clicks on Adsense and 2 purchases! Does the cyber frenzie seem to continue more than just today???

Hello, my learned colleagues! I am new to this (posted a few hubs last night for the first time). I have been reading forums for several hours today, as well as a few interesting hubs (thank you, Mark Knowles), about blogging and creating links and adsense, and all kinds of intriguing stuff that I...
