   Hey guys! My name's Chiquita and I'm new here! I've created this forum for new people who like to introduce themselves and share with us there goals while they're using Hub pages.
   
   SO, I'm going first with why I'm here.
   * Firstly I'm promoting my book "Thoughts and Emotions: Past, Present and Future", which is on sale at lulu.com
   
   *Secondly, I would like to share my experiences, opinions, songs and poems with others. I believe this may be because I like to teach people and I always feel that I need to show people that not all blacks are stereotypes. Some of us actually do have common sense.
   
   *Third, I would like to meet new people who share the same interest with me. Maybe, we can all get together one day and go chill at a poetry night club or something and sip green tee. I don't know.
   
   Ummm... I believe that I'm done now so thank you for taking out the time to read my post!

   Not that new but I went a bit slow in hubpages for like 8 months. I started to love hubpages more than facebook - sorry Mark Zuckerberg. Anyways, hubpages is so helpful as an outlet of thoughts and I sometimes use this to post articles from  my work. Please check out my poems also.

   I think I've been a member now for about a year, but I just recently started getting back into hubbing. I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Stout pursuing a degree in Technical Communication and a minor in Journalism. I was the news editor of the school newspaper last semester and will be the opinions editor next semester.
   
   Anyways, I am here to learn, share and promote me and my mother's [new] resume writing business. So far, we're still looking for our first customer (that's how new we are).
   
   I will certainly follow your hubs! I look forward to reading your work

   Hi!  I'm new here, only been here a couple of weeks.  I love to write and I'm hoping this is an outlet that will help me improve my skills and maybe earn a bit at the same time.  My ultimate goal is to do creative writing and someday write a mystery novel.  I also love to write poetry even though I'm not sure what I write is popular for today's poetry readers.  I guess I'll find that out for sure here.  lol

   Hi! I've been here exactly one month, so still a newbie! I love to write and am glad to find a place where the format of publishing is so easy and intuitive. Haven't lost any of my stuff yet, and that almost never happens! Love being able to add photos and vids to my hubs as illustration really helps. Have already come across a lot of nice and helpful people. Also hoping to get some money back from amazon, because heaven only knows how much I've spent there over the years.

   Aloha gang! My name is Nalani and I just joined yesterday. For me, I think this is the perfect medium to write for both serious and silly audiences and, if that gets me some pocket cash, that's a bonus!  I just posted my first Hub yesterday and I'm searching the depths of my mind for my next topic which, since I have children ranging from 24 years to 2 year old twins, will probably be about parenting. Regardless of what I write about or read about, I'm sure it's going to be a great adventure.  Mahalo! (thanks!)

   I came to hub pages after getting fed up with myspace. I have no goals on here and was simply looking for a place to run my mouth. I do enjoy most of the feedback I get and am considering an attempt to rid the world of all evil. Some would say that the best way to start this would be to leave the planet for good. I will stick around as long as possible simply to irritate those folks, hehehe. Peace and welcome to hub pages.

    I'm still fairly new (have been here under six months) but I will serve (with Stump) as the official welcomer...lol  I didn't come in with any goal except to publish so that at least a few other folks could see the things I'd written.  I've come to truly enjoy and value the community.  As you would expect, there are a number of different types and voices her on HubPages and it's wonderful.  I hope you all enjoy what you're doing here and wish you all the best in your endeavors.

    I am not new member here:) Its been almost 10 months since I joined HubPages but I was very slow in posting Hubs out here. There were some other priorities which were keeping me busy. However, I hope to be more regular with my hubs now :)Have fun

    Hi! I'm new here as well. I joined a little more than a week ago. My goal is to just share my knowledge and experiences and hopefully gain feeback from others so I can improve my writing skills. And maybe earn some money in the process. But I'm pretty sure that's out of the question! Anyway, I love writing and this place is a good outlet. It's good to be a part of a community who shares the same passion!

    Hi, I am also new hear, I have just posted two hubs on taking care of one's hair and how to avoid pimples, I am learning homeopathy and I am a medical transcriptionist.  How do I promote my hub so my people can see it, I love the user-friendly nature of hubpages, but some things I am not getting idea of.
