I could go an entire lifetime without TV. There are way better ways to spend your time. I've found that when I watch TV I am generally watching reruns or worthless shows used to simply kill time. The only time I actually enjoy watching TV is when something original is on like a good movie or a new episode of a TV show. All of which I can get commercial free on the internet. I'd much rather go out and do something or read than sit in front of the TV and feel my soul drain from my body.

I could probably go the rest of my life without television-- I barely watch it now, as things stand. Most programming more or less sucks my brain out... so I largely avoid turning it on.

I only watch a few shows here and their maybe a few hours a week. If i was trying to challenge myself im sure i could last a few weeks without tv.

I went without it for a full year, to be honest having a computer makes it far easier.

I could probably go the rest of my life without it. There are some shows that I do love to watch but most of the time all that's on TV are shows and movies that are replayed day after day so there's nothing new on. It gets pretty boring. Shows like The Walking Dead and Dexter I don't like to miss but if I do, they are always on the computer to watch within a few days so there isn't much of a need for the TV anymore.
