There is a beautiful HOTD describing the loss of a mother. To those who had less than
positive, even negative relationships w/ your mothers, do you make amends with your mothers before their passing? Also, what type of legacy did your mothers leave? If you are mothers yourselves, what legacy do you wish to leave regarding your children?
I truly agree with you on the hub of the day , wonderful tribute to
many who lost a mom.
I lost my mother in 1997, My mom prepared me mentally , she knew me well enough to know I would grieve hard , so we talked
about it, she and I did not share the same religion but , she assured me that she would never come as a spirit and scare me
Because her mom told her the same thing .
I am happy to know the truth of the resurrection hope that many
Will return to live here again on earth after the earth is cleaned and homes built for their arrival.
I truly believe in God's promise because the will in heaven will
Also be on earth as written, earth will be heavenly too !
Mt 6:10 Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.
My mother's legacy was family keeping us all together no matter the differences , no matter the arguments, no matter who did what, said the wrong thing, get over it, love is forever life is short. But through our heavenly Father we will hug and kiss them again not far off. Also we are talking about a earthly reunion not all people will experience death.
My mom left her legacy of the most wonderful love story, my mom and dad met as teenagers, love at first sight, my mom was catholic and from a rich family my dad was from a less wealthy family.my moms dad didnt want my mom to see my dad,and she would sneak out to see him, eventually moving in together and my dad won over her dad after some time. They got married and like Newlyweds always there entire life together. And sadly cancer took her away from my dad too soon. She was such a caring person, selfess and sweet and probably the happiest person i have ever known.Always smiling and always so proud of her family. I would love to have this legacy, she was my best friend.
This is so beautiful. Your mother sounds like a wonderful person. God bless.
thank you Grace .She was a great women, I feel blessed to have her as my Mom.

Should moms stay home with their kids? I think they should . It's better for the family in my opinion. At least until they are in school full time. The American family is falling apart, and mothers working and dumping kids off in daycare is part of the problem. Absentee dads is also a huge problem...
