Will you change your order at McDonald's once they list the calorie count for each item on the menu?

No, I already have checked out my favorites at the Mickey D's website so know how horrendous the calories and fat content are.  So I will just watch what I order and pay the consequences if I get carried away and order when I am over hungry.

Not really.  I am not convinced the list will be effective, at least for the stated goals..

I believe most people already have a pretty good idea that fast food is not the best thing for a steady diet.  The end results are kind of obvious and can be seen standing in line at McDonald's.  I don't believe the problem is awareness.  The biggest appeal of fast food is that it is fast, which is very attractive to someone working two or three jobs to survive, or to someone better off trying to find time in an extremely busy schedule.  There are also some issues with certain neighborhoods where fast food is the only close source of food.

We rarely eat fast food, so when we do it's a treat.  When you are enjoying a treat it doesn't matter what the calorie count is smile

Besides that, I'm too skinny as it is!  I could give a rat's patooty what the calorie counts are.  If anything I would go for the stuff with more calories smile
I already know my favorites on the menu are high fat, that's why they taste so darn good.

Nope.  It's already extremely easy, and has been for long, long time, to know how many calories you are eating at McDonald's or any other fast food joint.   If I'm eating at McDonald's I'm gonna have what I want!  Otherwise I'd find a healthier option.

I've sworn off eating at McDonald's for a year. So no, nothing will change for me smile

I almost never eat at McDonald's unless I'm forced to on a long car trip.  I will definitely change my order once the calorie counts are on the menu.  I think all restaurants should start doing this.

It is not just about McDonald's....all other fast food is not that calorie friendly either....and I'd honestly would say, if someone doesn't know by now that all the fast food is full of calories without real value.....sorry for them and their unawareness. I never was a big fan of fast food anyway, so it doesn't affect me that much.

Absolutely not! My standard order at McDonalds is as follows: 1 Double Quarterpounder with cheese plain--I don't like all that stuff on my burger---and 1 regular quarter pounder with cheese plain, and a large fry. And I'm in the best shape of my life. I do a VERY intense cardio everyday for an entire hour. I'm still going to eat what I want at McDonalds!

I doubt it. Like a couple others have said, it's already easy enough to find the calorie count online. I think most people who care about the calorie count will have already looked up the information on their own. Personally, I sometimes watch how many calories I'm taking in, sometimes I don't. If I'm going through a calorie watching phase, I generally don't eat at McDonald's.

Nope.  I looked up the calories online and already know what I'm "spending" there when I go.  I did stop getting "fries with that" after looking at the calorie charts though.

It might be a little freaky to see the calories of each n every item. Might get slightly modified but not too much. I dont exactly go to mcdonalds to find health food.

Yep! I live in the UK and here the calorie amounts have already been added to the menus at McDonalds. It does affect my choice when I order, 'cause I'm quite health conscious and I only eat fast food rarely. When I do, I try to choose something low calorie (if possible!).

When McDonalds open in India few years ago, we were so crazy to go there as it was only seen by us in foreign movies and heard a lot about it but soon we got bored , now hardly anyone I know go to Mcdonalds, except for an ice cream cone and that too if we are passing by and its cone is very cheap, costs about 17 or 18 cents a cone.

I don't count calories while I am eating.  When I count calories it is usually when I am using an exercise machine.  The calorie list would not change what I ordered.  I don't eat at McDonald's or other fast food places that often so when I do I order what I think will taste good and satisfy my hunger.  A burn a lot of calories anyway because I exercise a lot.

It's already deterred me from getting my beloved hot fudge sundae that for some reason I thought had less calories than most. 350 calories!!! Depressing....I'll have to put it out of my mind and go for it next time.

Nope, I will never go to McDonald's. I prefer either KFC or Subway.
