   Do you have a good recipe for sweet potatoes?
   
   My daughter wants me to make sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving. I'm having about 10 people for dinner. Does anyone have a good recipe they can share? THANK YOU!!

   I like mashed boiled sweet potatoes mixed with milk powder and a little sugar. A little sweet cream will probably improve the mix.

   I havnt a recipe but I cook them as follows...
   
   Peel and and slice fairly thick cook until still slightly firm
   Place in hot oil in a baking dish ,drizzle with garlic ,hot oven until roasted to your liking !! delicious....
   
   I sometimes add ordnary potatoes as well .

   I like to boil them, then mash with a little salt, pepper and butter.

   One that's great, but not too sweet is peel & chunk the potatoes (raw potatoes or yams), put them in a small casserole dish (so that they're somewhat piled but not one big mass of potato).  Top with a can of chunked pineapple, using the syrup as well. try to coat the potatoes as evenly as possible.  Sprinkle a few pats of butter around on top, put in the oven at about 350-375 until they get fork tender. if they start to brown too much, cover loosely with foil until done.  Easy way to make lots of sweet potatoes fairly quickly.

   from Italian cuisine make gnocchi (dumplings) with sweet potatoes.
   
   Boil 3 sweet potatoes and 1 irish potatoes. Mash them and add salt, nutmeg and 1/2 Kg of flour. Mix together till until a soft dough forms. Take some pieces and roll it out  into a 1-inch wide rope. Cut each rope into small pieces. Boil water, add salt and when they come up on the surface they are ready. Use a small sieve to collect them. If you have some ricotta cheese to add in the ingredients is a bonus (in this case reduce quantity of flour).
   
   Serve them with melted butter sauce with rosemary or sage.

   I steam them, mash them and have them with Roast dinner of either beef or chicken, a mix of veg and Yorkshire puddings....don't forget the gravy!

    I like to peel them, cut them in half and then roast until cooked.

    Just boil them, smash them, add brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon!
