   Afternoon folks. If anyone has a UK, Greek Island, or European travel hub that I could add to my hubtrail hubs please let me know. Thanks all. Here's hoping

      Ethel, should I use the hub about the beach at Wells for Hubtrail - or do you want the Norwich one, which I haven't done yet? I could send you the link for the Wells hub, but not sure exactly what to do? Do I simply add hubtrail into the tags? Hubtrail UK? Or hubtrail Europe? And does it need to be in the title as well, or not? Sorry for all these questions, these technical things are not my strong point!

   Ethel, I started a UK Capstone Hubtrail hub, so that I could put all of my UK-related hubs in it, but I haven't finished it.  I have to admit, I've not read enough about how we're supposed to be doing this to know how we're supposed to combine hubs and if each person can have a capstone hub.  Are you asking for UK hubs to add to your Capstone hub?  Should I abandon my capstone hub and put them on yours?

      Sorry this is a little late. No. I am not sure either KCC. Its just that I am happy to include links to places around the UK etc. I published mine ages ago. At that time we were posting capstone links in the Hubtrails bit of the forum. What do you think?
      
      Anyone else have any thoughts?

         I think it's fine to have more than one capstone, as long as you link them together. I think if one country capstone has too many links, it might defeat it's purpose. ? it might be overwhelming for someone to open the hub with so many links. that's my personal opinion.  I think in supporting each other and spreading the hub love with links, there's more to go around.

   Hey Hub Writers,
   
   Maybe I can help;
   
   If you are producing a Capstone hub for a specific continent, then when you include your tags/keywords, you should be using:
   
   (a) hubtrail (name of continent)
   (b) hubtrail capstone
   (c) hubtrail (name of city/state/territory/province)
   
   If you are not producing a Capstone hub, then OMIT "b".
   
   Your Hub should turn up in the feed and be categorized in the correct location.
   
   Hope that helped.

   Hey Hypno,
   
   I checked the tags and you seem to be fine. However, I mentioned in another thread, to someone else who asked about the "hyphen" and I'm under the impression the "hyphen" is not needed.
   
   Because, search engines work on words and/or phrases(i.e., couple of words side by side), to deliver results. So, if it is not typed exactly as the keyword, I would think the search engine would ignore the keyword, because it is not the same.
   
   I could be wrong, but that is how it has been explained to me.
   
   BTW- anyone if I am wrong, please do tell me.

    Cagsgill. I was aked to add hubtrail-united kindom to my UK hubs. Does this mean they wont work because of the hyphen. I have changed these things umpteen times. I'd like to finally get it right.

       Hey Ethel, I really do not think it matters? But, what I have been getting is conflicting answers from most. I would rather you leave out the "hyphen" because search engines work on the basic of words or phrases, as typed in to the search engine box, when a person searches for a topic.
       
       So, you do what you think it better. I have no conclusive statistics to prove otherwise. Sorry, I couldn't be more help.

             Ethel, I think what Cagsil is saying is right. I have heard that '-'-es are keyword separaters, so no matter if you include them or not. It's really a matter of observation. Try with or without them and see if they show up on the appropriate tag page or not. If they do you did it right.
             
             There wouldn't be this much guesswork if we simply followed the guidelines given by ohma in her hub.
             
             And btw, what do you worry about? The tag page? Just see if it's there or not. I doubt anyone can follow this stuff any more... If anyone does I would appreciate a final decision and till then I recommend your following ohma's guidelines.
