So I am curious to see how other people use alcoholic beverages in their cooking. Do you bake with it (for cakes, sweets etc) or do you use it in everyday cooking? Feel free to share your recipes and ideas!

You can make BBQ sauce with Jack Daniels, it's actually pretty good! Also Rum Cake has booze in it, hence the name lol.

Hey Dre, well I am a bit impartial to Bourbon, and being a female I love my Midori.
Between you and me I am a bit selfish, would rather be having a few drinks than seeing it dwindle down on my food lol.
I have a two 25litre drums always going downstairs, can make every spirit under the sun, just for sharing with friends of course, not selling it. smile smile smile
What do you drink if you are having a drink??

Bah! We keep missing each other on the posts!

Fine choice, BP, no doubt. I'm a sucker for Rum...any Rum really, but I prefer Captain Morgan...of course. One day, BP...you and I shall have a night out, sharing our respective drinks. (winks)

Non-sequitor: I did not think the topic sentence was going to end with the words "your food."

You know, this is a good idea, since alcohol in a recent study published in Journal, Alcohol everyday (a certain amount) reduces risk of diabetes!
