URGENT >>>>>Overly Promotional??

   I got an error for being overly promotional and linking to another site I am under Business Consultants "I" am the company. I took down the links and it still will not publish. I am a marketing and firm, promotion is what I do but this is a resume and about WHO I have done wok for. I sent out a huge amounts of emails with this link to get new work because I relocated and am starving to death in West Palm Beach at the height of the off season. I NEED THIS PUBLISHED and intend to work with the Google  Ad Words. Will someone please get this published????  Terry_Hammes

      HubPages rules mean you can't have more than two links to the same website in a Hub, whether it belongs to you or not.
      
      If the content of your Hub is a straight copy of something already on the net, you can't have any links to anywhere else.
      
      To get it republished you need to resubmit it, not just save it.

         As Marisa said above, and as the email you were sent when your hub was moderated clearly states, you may only have 2 links to each domain on a hub.  You have something like 23 to one domain (seemingly the result of a copy-paste job from another site) and 7 to another (your own site) on the hub in question.  You need to pare that down to two to each domain, and then submit for publication using the button on the hub itself.

      What I find perplexing is that the Original Poster clearly says that she took down the links... Then how come so many links can remain?

         I didn't realize that some of the links went to the Executive headhunter site, so I removed that module and I think there are only the two link remaining to my advertising company site. I have different client examples belonging to other companies hosted with different URL's that I also took down but would want to keep such as <link snipped> - Can I do that? In other words they are different addresses but go to the same domain but they talk about other clients?  In the case of this link the company was sold so I put these cool samples up as a example of what I do for clients. I would think the spirit of Hub pages is commercial, creative, pointing to different sites and all original, all of what my Hubs are be it poetry or trying to get clients. >>> I have a problem with the capsules now, they won't let me write or edit on this page or any new ones? TECHNICAL problem/

            So you cannot have more than 2 links to one domain.  It doesn't matter how many different URL's or clients or topics. 
            
            Is that clear yet?

   Terry, if I were going to post a resume on HubPages, I'd put it on my profile not in a Hub.

   I think you should read the rules regarding being overly promotional. If you are a marketing professional, as stated in your text, I find it mind boggling that you think a free article repository is the right location to host your portfolio, nevermind the fact that you failed to read the rules as you created a portfolio on a free site before sending out an email to prospective clients.
   
   If you can afford Adwords you can afford a domain.

      It is a credentials site describing award winning work of a 32 year old award wining advertising marketing public relations and website development fir whose principal, ME, relocated to a new town It is Not a resume site, it is an offer to network, educate and get clients, not a j-o-b! I have never been employed in a Career Builder j-o-b. But thanks for your comment. It does puzzle me why if something is creative, original and listed under the exact correct category here, clearly allowable, you would even say that? Are you another relative that would rather I starve? Please refer to my category listing as a Consultant.
