Do you update your hubs?

   I don't have a lot of hubs, but I'm finding myself updating them every few weeks with new content. Who else is updating their hubs and who isn't?
   
   If you don't, do you create a new hub and compile them into a single group?

      I go back into my hubs periodically and recheck for spelling errors, and grammar, Sometimes I update the Ebay and Amazon capsules. Once on awhile if I find something interesting on the subject I wrote about I will add another link.
      As for the meaty part of the hub- the actual writing- it stays the same.
      I find that it's best to leave that part alone, and if something is compelling enough I'll write another hub about it.

      I update my Hubs occasionally but if I have a lot of new material, I prefer to start a new Hub and put them into a group.
      
      As Waynet says, Google prefers sites that are "fresh" -i.e. that is being updated regularly.  So updating a Hub now and then makes sense.  However, you can "cheat" Google by adding a News capsule, an RSS capsule or an Ebay capsule, because all of those change regularly all by themselves - as far as Google is concerned, that counts as your Hub updating.

      me too, i don't have a lot of hubs..i only update them when i have new ideas to add or maybe find something in the content which are not appropriate..i mean for matter that are not suitable for the present time...

         That's what I've been doing. I reread my hub and notice I'm missing something, and I add or delete a paragraph or add a new picture or a video.

   I like to revise and update my hubs from time to time.  I wish I spent more time writing new hubs, but I never seem to have time.

   I always do as this helps me to revisit articles and update content with new stuff and just basicly expand on parts of my articles.
   
   This also helps in the search engines too, just like updating a regular website!!

   I have been adding to and updating all my hubs. Only up to 11 now so not too difficult. Once I hit about 20 it will start to weigh on me I fear.

      That's my point - you don't need to keep updating them if you use other techniques to keep them fresh.  You really shouldn't need to add to your Hubs if you did a good job of writing it in the first place - Hubs are not blogs, the idea is to write a complete article the first time!   
      
      I did update my Hubs quite a lot at first, but not to add new text - I went back and added photo, video, news, RSS and poll capsules as I learned how to use them, which also meant I had to split up my text over more text boxes to fit them all in.

   I have been slacking off. I am a startup owner and have a lot of work to do on a daily basis But I am a perfectionist, and if time is available, I would update my hubs too. In fact, I am going to make a commitment to do it from now on

   There's one I update on a regular basis because the information in the hub changes constantly. It's also one of my better performing hubs.

    I don't update my hubs every now and then but i see more visitors even adding a few words to an already done hub.I have one or two hubs for them i keep experiencing changing title of hub and getting a few readers from none.

    I have written quite a few hubs these last few days. Just on topics of interest and noticed my readership is rising. Being able to write so freely about something can be quite addictive, lol ... rss feed idea sounds great! Thank you for sharing now I will have to figure that one out, lol

    From what I understand, Google algo favors webpages that remain fresh.  So perhaps updating is a good thing.  To that end, I update whenever I get a chance, new pics usually, but in my sports hubs, I update accordingly.

    Yeah when I started my Hubs I was treating them more like Blogging. Still do with several of them. Since then I have gotten some wonderful advice and working to restructure some in a more article fashion or stand alone site motif.
    
    But overall since I like to see high hub scores for each Hub I still work to update on occasion.

    Yes I find updating hubs makes a big difference to traffic.  If you take almost any hub with very low traffic and edit it a bit or add capsules then the page views increase.  This is almost immediate with hubber views and obviously takes a little longer with the search engines.
    
    I also add/amend keywords from time to time to try to optimise SE traffic.  One way to increase traffic without an edit is to add an RSS feed which will change regularly; for example a feed to your best or latest hubs.

    Yes, I update occasionally.  When I come across something while researching that will benefit another of my hubs I will  go back and edit that hub.  While I'm in there editing I also check to see if other hubbers have written anything complementory to mine and may give them a link.
