how to earn money through hub

   hi i am adeshwar i have just published two hubs.  but i dont know how to make money through it.  And ya how can i advertise my hub i mean how to increase traffic.

      I need to ask, and I hope it doesn't sound racist in any way... what is the fascination with image galleries of attractive females among Indian males?
      
      I mean it's not like males of other nationalities don't enjoy looking at women in all types of dress (or undress) but it seems that a very high proportion of Indian males who sign up at HubPages get stuck into the photo galleries like they've read an ebook on it or something.
      
      But checking out your tags for that hub...

         The main reason is,these hubs with hot pictures get loads of traffic.Because such picture galleries are googled toomuch in India among the young.

            Paul Deeds once reported, photo galleries of Indian women get the most thumb's down votes from HubPages viewers of any types of pages created.  So while they may seem like they get lots of traffic, that's going to make them have lower scores and the distinct lack of written content means they are going to draw weak ads from Google.  Which means they are one of the poorest moneymakers you could pick for a hub topic.

   I've been advertising my hubs by posting them on facebook, adding them to stumble, and posting the links in my daily blog on another website.
   
   It's tough to generate cash because the percentage is so low, I've made 35 cents but the companies have made almost $16 of off my sites. This isn't a profitable business unless you make a new, popular, informative hub everyday and even then it's not a lot of money. There is an article somewhere on here about how to write an article to make it meet the requirements of google's top searches. That will help too.

   I was going by what google adsense had posted in my profile and amazon is a big fat 0.
   I'm not sure how else to gauge how much money I'm bringing in.

   You're not going to make a million dollars in 4 days with only three hubs, darlin'.  You'd have to do more than just post on facebook and stumble.  So, unless you're upset because you've invested hundreds of thousands of dollars on ad campaigns and only have 35 cents in profit, just relax and let the numbers rise for a while.

      trust me, I wasn't complaining. I was just reiterating the fact that ad revenue was a slow process starting out and I was hoping to get some feedback to tell me what that the $16 meant.
      I write for free on local sites and I'm not exactly knocking my 35 cents because that's 35 cents I didn't have before.
      
      I thought that posting what I was experiencing would help me understand the process better, describing my state as "upset" would be a gross exaggeration but thank-you for the link to aid my further understanding of how this site works.
      
      I guess my being new may have fabricated the idea that I was anxiously awaiting millions of dollars, completely blind to the idea that it may actually take more work than four days and three not-so-spectacular hubs. Come on, I'm not exactly hammering out best sellers here. Ha ha.

    I think you are mixing a few things here.
    
    Since you don't have anything on Amazon or Ebay, let's leave them alone for a sake of simplicity, and concentrate on Adsense. Your Adsense account shows only your earnings. Nobody else's - mine or Hubpages's don't get there. All what you have on Adsense is yours.
    
    So I am a bit puzzled where exactly those mentioned numbers came from? Try to find out what are the column titles or any other titles associated with them, then we may be able to sort this out

       I might as well be doing a handstand with my head in the mud because I have no idea whats really going on when it comes to adsense. It's my first time dealing with them because everything I've written since university has been on an ad-free, local blog. I'll let you know if I figure this out.

       I agree Stella.  I believe online business is good for everyone to at least try.  Your either cut out for it or not.  The only way to know for sure is to put yourself out there and try to succeed.  Though there is a lot of trial and error you can still push your way to the top.  That's the glory of the internet.

    You might also be curious to know that out of all the people who've taken the earnings poll on one of my hubs, over 40% earn less than $10 per month and over 30% earn between $10-$50.

    It takes patience, time and a good batch of well-crafted hubs to get a good revenue stream going.  For myself, that took close to 100 hubs and two years.
