I wrote this one hub about 500 words or so that was a (useful/informative) one, but I did not think it would hit success like this. I now think I have figured out how to get hubs getting this much (maybe) BUT I will not be able to write more hubs like these until they exist so to speak.. (I wrote about something that was extremely popular and "NEW" in the search engines and I guess I got ranked super high)
What I want to know is how to get hubs that get 0 to get at least a few a day. I sadly have some hubs that were probably written better or simply had more content so to speak and they are dead. Then I have other hubs that get maybe 10-30 views, but if i would of wrote these over year ago they would of spiked in traffic. Of course I was not a member on here.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to help dead or lower performing hubs get at least moderate views 10-20?
I am glad that I got lucky with this hub, but in the future I need to translate similar.
Just write quality hubs and be patient. I wrote 1 hub and got 0 to 3 views a day for 2 months and the third month I am getting about 10 views a day. It is all from referrals and none from direct traffic and search engines. I am surprised by this. No complaint and I am in no hurry. Just write quality hubs and they will find you.
Well, considering you do not have a hub published on this account, I guess you have another account somewhere.
So that means, this account is just a "sock" puppet account. Thank you for letting everyone know. We can now ignore you. Always helpful when "trolls/sock puppets" show themselves.
I do not have another account. The only thing i have done was to sign up for google adsense for hubpages on june 3 2010.
Then you lied. Which means you cannot be trusted, which is no different than that of a "sock" puppet. Again, good to know.
Did you research the keyword for the hub that getting 300+ views daily?
I wish I did.
All the Hubs I have that get 200-300 hits a day are what I consider "fluff".
When I write something good and meaningful (to me at least) it hardly gets any hits.
They get good Hub scores usually, but hardly any traffic.
Write hubs from the same niche or very similar niches, ones that you can link off of your big hub. Or even better, not necessarily for hub traffic but for Adsense traffic, start a site (recommend blogger or wordpress for this) off of the same niche, link it off of your popular hub, set and forget. It's a good way to get free adsense traffic.
Improve them. You have to provide what your audience is looking for to get more views.
Yes, that is what I have to work on with my lower performing hubs too...these are good tips for all. thanks for sharing.
I have found out that time is the key.
I have been on hubpages for about a month, and wish I would've wrote more article a few weeks ago. I stopped checking my hubpages 13 days ago, then I logged on yesterday, and found out that over time, I had gained 500 views, a comment, and my hubscore was higher.
Congratulations on the achievement!!
Maybe you can try tweaking those hubs. I haven't done that personally but have heard others gaining some success with this method.
BTW, I know which hub are you talking about!
Improve the lower scoring Hubs:
1.) Ping them
2.) Google keyword tool
3.) Add RSS feed
4.) Talk them up on social networks, Linkedin, Facebook, etc... - start a dicussion
5.) Create an RSS feed by tagging them with an unique tag - mine is gmacold for those Hubs that need some love.
Good Luck!
I wish I knew your secret. I have a total of 23 hubs and combined they aren't getting that much traffic. If you figure out the secret, let us all know.
David 470,
Congratulations!!
Like Evan Hutchinson said, write more hubs in the niche.
Can you share the keywords you used for the hub? (just kidding).
I got lucky with one hub, which is getting about 60+ views a day, but that's about it. I made a few hubs over the last couple days, but they aren't doing too well. Hoping they pick up soon.

I just wrote a Hub last week entitled "Adam Lambert Sexed for Success". It did quite well, in fact it receive over 1700 views in less than a week. (that's good for me, anyway). My overall ranking on hubpages as of this morning was 96. The article was ranked anywhere from 87 - 93 and the...

With all the stuff that is going on with my...

I'm relatively new to Hubpages, and so far I've published three articles. However, the view numbers are pretty small, and I'd like to increase them. I'm currently writing some more Hubs right now, but any tips that you'd like to share, I'd really appreciate them
