Gaga has some talent, believe it or not!

I live in Nashville and have friends in the Recording Business, and Taylor
unfortunately has to have electronic help for her voice.

She can write, she has talent doing that, one he.. of a song writer for real, and a great poet also. but she can't sing a good note when she's un-enhanced electronically.

I like Taylor's stuff it is fresh and original, I'd say its about even but for pure voice, its Lady Gaga.

Electronic assistance for a singer would be like me playing in the NBA on 8 ft. goals.  It shouldn't be allowed.

I sat in on a recording with my friend over at capitol on a weekend, I was suprised to say the least.

I believe they're in different genres, aren't they?  So, I'd have to say, No Contest. hmm  (I do like both....)

I agree with Rafini, but I do prefer Taylor's Swifts songs.  Don't care for the drama of Lady G, HOWEVER, I think she is an interesting person and is willing to take a stand for what she believes.

Gaga's a bit of a creative genius, thinking outside the box.  Whether you dig her style or not, you have to admit she is that.  Swift is a young girl who writes good lyrics but has not really developed a style of any report.  She's got potential in the writing department, but I don't see what all the fuss is about when it comes to her talent.  Not a great singer, no great show.  Gaga on the other hand, is a better singer, don't know who writes her stuff, but it's more intricate and sophisticated, and she gives you a show for your money.

Taylor can write songs (that are geared towards teenagers) but she can't sing...so my vote is for Lady Gaga!

She has her own style...but the duet with Stevie Nicks--OMG  Pathetically off key and embarrassing.  Even SN couldn't get her back on track.  It was awful.

I think that Taylor Swift is better, but Lady Gaga has way better public relations. She knows too well exactly what she is doing and markets herself in the perfect ways always. As screwed up as Lady Gaga is, she is SMART. Even when she wears that incredibly contaminated meat dress, she knows exactly what she's doing, so... she deserves the vote.
