Ok, I know we are allowed to link to other hubs and it's good to do that. But, are we allowed to link to our own hubs? I'm confused by the description provided by hubpages.
For example, if I post a hub and I have a hub that I think is similar and may interest readers, I create a link at the end of my article saying something along the lines of "other articles that may be of interest" and then I put a link and brief description of my hub.
Is that allowed? Because I've now noticed that at the very bottom of the page it also lists other articles of mine in the same category...
None of my hubs were flagged, but here is the content in question that confuses me from the help page:
"#5. My hub was flagged as overly promotional, what does that mean?
Purely promotional offers and Hubs designed only to promote other sites or businesses are not allowed. In particular, the following actions are likely to get your hubs flagged:
* linking repeatedly to the same site within a hub or across many hubs
* including links to a page that contains largely the same content as your hub
* linking to products or services unrelated to a Hub's content"
I think, you may do so by groups the similar hubs together. Group help reader navigate your hubs in one group.
Mostly, I don't understand
"* linking repeatedly to the same site within a hub or across many hubs"
If I have 3 different hubs that are all linking back to each other - is that not allowed? Or does that refer to linking to external sites (i.e. promotional, blog, etc) and not hubs?
I understand the groups and have been using them to group my hubs. Should I just do it that way? It's just that the group links show all the way at the end as opposed to closer to the end of the article where I feel I am less likely to lose the reader.
If you build Hubs that seem to have the sole function of promoting an online business or singular resource, you're probably going to see your HubScore tank or have some Hubs get flagged for review.
Since HubPages is a free resource and was created with the intention of people sharing information, they don't want people to just build tons of "landing pages" that just drive traffic to off-HubPages commercial sites.

I find it hilarious that Hubpages pushes the concept of helping new Hubbers yet my Hub which has had very good reception by the community has been flagged for being both overly promotional and substandard.I had 5 social bookmarking links, and 2 other links to free tools absolutely related to the...

Do you often flag content on HubPages?I see a few hubs everyday that are in English, but poorly written. I hate to flag a hub if someone is just trying to start on HP, but I don't like reading poorly written hubs! What are your thoughts?

The question of whether poetry Hubs should have 400-word minimums came up in this thread a few minutes ago:http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/70203#post1528809I've been puzzling about what to do with poetry Hubs I've found while hopping. I haven't flagged any of them, because poetry is a unique...

I was really excited when I saw this new feature because I thought it was a great way to support, get to know and interact with other hubbers...But...for the most part, with some exceptions it is a load of garbage. When I think of all the painstaking time I take putting a hub together...and I...

So .... I was just flagged for a hub I wrote last night. It was flagged as a duplicate.I didn't even cite anything in this hub. I quoted a bunch of stuff in my Anaconda piece and none of it was flagged as duplicate, so someone must have copied and pasted my new hub. Everything on...

This forum is a place for you to post hubs that you think are clearly of low quality and need flagging. Committed hubbers should follow this forum and check these hubs posted for quality when they have the time. If a hub has been clearly copied (for example from a PDF file that the plagiarism...
