Can't upload photos to hubs.

   I think you're ahead of everyone else. There are currently reports of people not being able to even start hubs!

      Yep.. can start hubs...uploading pics make it hang.. text is all clumped together... seems HP is full of woes at the moment.

         I have had this problem before.
         
         It might be hubpages technical problem, but try these tips.
         
         1. Update or install adobe flash
         2. Upgrade to Firefox 4
         3. Check the photo size and type to make sure the are compatible with Hubs

   I was having the same problem while using Google Chrome. I don't know if it was a temporary Hubpages glitch or not, but I updated Chrome and after restarting I was able to upload photos to hubs again.

   I just posted a new hub and it took me forever to get the pictures uploaded. What I did was leave the hub unpublished went somewhere else on Hubpages then came back and when I edited my unpublished hub i was then able to upload 1/2 of my pictures. Had to do this 2 times.

   What browser is everyone who's experiencing this problem using (and which version), and what platform? What error message are you getting (if any)?
   
   I just tried it on Safari 5.0.5, Firefox 4.0.b7, and Chrome 11.0 on a Mac, and was able to upload pictures OK.
   
   We have to replicate the problem on our end to troubleshoot it.

      I'm using IE 9 and had problems uploading pics earlier... first it said there was an error with one pic but my other pic worked.
      
      So I uploaded the exact pic to tinypic and then imported it and it worked... but then later I went to upload the other pic that had worked before and it had an error! so I had to import it too but it didn't show the thumbnail when it loaded (it was a red x) but I saved it anyway and it showed up.
      
      I'm writing a second hub and it's showing me the red x when I import but when i save it, it shows the red x and no pic.

    I am trying both on Chrome and FF .. I have had no problems earlier..it is just the last week or so that  I am facing problems..cleared out the cookies, history etc.. and still having trouble, that I don't want to edit or write a new hub until this problem is sorted out

    I am using OSX 10.6.7 and Safari 5.0.5
    
    I also tried the same thing in Firefox, but it is not working there either.

    I was used chrome. But it's been a month I am not able to create, edit and commenting through it so I changed to Firefox. I'm not sure why.

    I'm using Chrome and this morning was able to upload photos but I had to try several times.  This evening was worst, but I was able to add my photos after several intervals.

    I noticed I had this problem the other day (E.I. 7), but all it took was a couple of tries and the photos finally loaded.  I just chalked it up to the Hub Gremlins.

    I'm not having any trouble uploading pictures, but for some reason the photos I upload are not showing up in the summary on my profile, instead its a picture of me.
